Fitting Burdens is a narrative 2D organization puzzle game that demonstrates some struggles and coping mechanisms of living and growing up in an Asian household, inspired by experiences of my own and others’ from the same culture.
In this game you can:
~ Listen to the nostalgic sound of mom's insults and family yelling every time you make a mistake
~ Hide your problems (e.g. bad grades) and personal desires (like a love interest!) to avoid being disowned
~ Find space for your things and yourself in a family culture that has your priorities at the bottom
~ And lastly...idk...maybe get some family therapy and heal yourself because you are enough and you deserve to be truly loved and cared for b...
