In this video, I show the results from several export speed tests. First, I exported a long video project (over an hour) with 32GB of memory and the free version of DaVinci Resolve. The late afternoon and sunset footage was filmed in D-log 2k with manual settings, 60p at 120fps, and I'm happy with the results for the price of the camera; I was using a 256 ND filter. To my knowledge, you need the software installed to have custom buttons, but I can't say 100%. I haven't changed anything on mine since install, and I've had ZERO problems.

I do like he has custom bars he likes. I want to explore more about bars and find the perfect one that fits me.
The one-piece bars/stem are usually expensive and you need to know your exact preference dimensions before buying. Best to experiment with a regular stem and different bars first.
The quality of the cam is so crisp! Definitely has that AZ feel I need to make my way out to one of these Tucson rides!

I bought the medium because it was sized correct for my head size but when it came I couldn't even get a quarter of it on. So I had to cut out over half of the rear and front padding, now it fits great. If you're planning on getting one of these (I have the unrated foam version) I'd go at least one size up.

I have the new Rode Wireless Pro now, and you can't even lock it without changing some 'auto record' setting or something like that. The Rode also only has one line out, no separate headphone monitor, which I think is crazy. But the Rode sounds better imo, and I love their free software, and the Rode has a lav mic lock where the DJI doesn't. DJI and Rode need to get together to make the perfect system!

Maybe when I open the computer again, but the ram didn't seem to affect the results hardly at all.

@@aik64g The difference between 32GB and 64GB, in my test, was very little, almost the same. As I mention, I'm not a computer expert. I'm sure the bigger ram could help with real-time previews. But with export time, it didn't help.
@@aik64g I'm going to upgrade to Studio v19 soon. Maybe I will pull half the ram and run the test again, and then again with 64 (comparing speeds in v19).

I'm thinking of buying the 24mm 2.8 for landscape photography. I'd buy the 20mm but I'm afraid I wouldn't take it with me when I hike for many hours, a bit too big/heavy! Thanks for the advice 🙂
I don't know much about landscape photography, but I imagine you're shooting at higher f-stops, in which case I'd say go for the 24mm because it is SO much smaller and lighter. Unless you need the extra wide view, which I think a lot of landscapes use. They make it tough to choose!
