I find it weird how so many people are talking about how awful this port is yet i've never had something like this happen to me, and it's worked perfectly besides a few crashes.

Dead rising 2 gets worse the longer you play in a session, you need to keep closing it every 2 hours or so

The Xbox One/PS4 versions of Dead Rising Trilogy kinda suck just stick to the originals

For real tho, DR2 and OTR are messed up bad on the PS4. Even basic things like the mall music and zombie audio are completely botched compared to the original. From my understanding, this bug in particular is what happens when you play the game consecutively for too long, ultimately requiring you to restart. Hopefully a DR2 remaster is in the works!

The funny thing I played the ps3 version of dead rising 2 recently I was able to play the game for seven hours straight and the game never glitched out or crashed unlike the ps4 version

Questions for DR2 players... how the fuck do you stand the running/walking speed in this game?

This happens after more than 3 hours of gameplay. The engine just eats itself. I remember reading about why it was that because of ps3/ memory leak? And the game kept remembering every lil detail. Fallout new Vegas was the same thing. The engine just eats itself 😭

It’s no diffferent on Xbox I can’t play long sessions without a game crash. The mission ticket to ride in particular is bugged to the point it’s almost impossible to complete. And I experience this crap you’re going through every once in a while where I load into out of bounds zones and it takes luck to get back in bounds.

Is this just a dead rising 2 issue? i remember back in 2016 putting about 80 hours into dead rising 1 with no issues on ps4.
