Hello from WNC. We were hit hard up here and I am still without power but God is good. My family is all safe and accounted for and their homes were spared the destruction. I look off my porch and see destruction all around me. I live in Newland NC, was raised in Burnsville NC, work in Marion NC, and do all my shopping in Spruce Pine NC. My mom and mother n law live in Marion, my brother is rescue squad and lives in Burnsville. For days there was a dark cloud over the NC mountains. But then the sun came out. Neighbors coming together to help each other and share what they have. People across the nation coming together to help us. I see the destruction and sadness everywhere but most of all I see God in everyone's willingness to help. Keep us in your prayers as we are still looking for people and as we begin the journey of building our lives and towns back.

I know I'm watching your vids backwards. Of course I've been focused on the devastation around us and thanking God our home isn't near the Nolichucky. We're maybe 5 miles as the crow flies away from it. I left early Friday afternoon to go visit family and even then the bridges were washed out in Greene county. We'd had rain here in Chuckey since last Tuesday night. It just poured for three days before Helene hit and that was the biggest problem and what caused SO MUCH flooding. So many of my friends just having different issues but they're ok as are their properties. Our power never really went out, hubby stayed home to take care of pups and nothing really happened. I got home Sunday night and Mon morning the water went out, still hasn't come back on but we have gotten some from a friend for flushing toilets and washing dishes. We have plenty of bottled drinking water for us and the animals. Our dogs go through about a gallon a day. I know some folks up here are struggling to water farm animals etc. They've set up water sites around Chuckey but I'm SURE donations will be greatly appreciated. I went to Food City yesterday (Tues) and they'd gotten tons of pallets of gallons and drinking bottles of water. I know the town of Greeneville is asking "non essential" businesses to close to save water so that means folks out of work and not making money (I understand this concept because the hubby is STILL off work with his broken wrist. If the wheels on semi's don't turn, drivers don't make money!! But we're STILL in so much better shape than the folks that have lost EVERYTHING!!🥹🥹

I went up to the Plateau this past Friday to visit my cousin and they turned me on to "Five Crowns" card game. It's SO much fun. It's kinda like reverse Rummy. It goes pretty fast at least for 3 of us. We played from about 8pm til dang near 3am. 😆. It kind of helped us get our minds of the devastation happening all around us. We're still without water up here in Chuckey. Greeneville seems to be back on in places and also to the north of us. We have friends in Gray that have all their utilities and we were able to get roughly 25 gallons of water from them to at least flush toilets and wash dishes. Of course we are prepared for emergencies here and have tons of bottled drinking water. I'm trying to just cook on our grill to keep the dishes down. Praying for all the folks that have lost loved ones, animals, homes, cars etc!! I have another cousin over in Black Mountain, NC that it took a couple of days to hear from but FINALLY heard and she's ok!!! Thank God. 🙏🥹🙏

Sometimes God wants to show us that He is the only God and how great and mighty is He. I think its about time that people turn from their ways and turn back to God and maybe He will hear from heaven and save them.

I love your doctor, I am always thinking the same thing when it comes to you. You're younger than me, but you really need to make time for yourself. I love to fly, it's the safest form of travel, believe it or not, but anyway, you don't have to fly to have yourself a nice mini vacation. The devastation from the hurricane is tragic, and I feel so bad for all those affected, but I can't dwell on those things, cause I'm the kind of person who takes on the worries of the world, and gets sick from it. Hubby stops me from watching the news cause I will just cry all day, and can even end up throwing up. I do what i can to help those in need. Congratulations to Lexi and hubby on having their house under contract. I hope and pray 🙏 all goes according to plan ❤❤. Lakely is adorable, I can't believe how much she looks like her daddy ❤.

A wonderful thing to do is to find a family that doesn’t have water & electricity, wash their clothes & return to them a couple of times per weeks. Bad things happens because we live in a sinful world, even creation cries out to have it as it was in the garden of Eden. Most important thing is to accept the FREE GIFT OF SALVATION, share this information to your friends & family always.

I forgot to mention this, that sometimes bad things happen to you because it's someone else's test! This is to see if they will be charitable, loving and kind! Taking care of elderly parents, children, disabled and those that are in need!

We lived with God before we came to this earth as his spirit children. We were all given the chance to come to earth and given free will/ agency! That means we were able to make our own choices and sometimes we are at the mercy of other people who have their own agenda's! Some people are just evil! I know that natural disasters just happen sometimes but Governments especially the US and other countries have been developing weather weapons and have been using weather manipulation since the 1960's. This is now called geoengineering. They use aerosols and chemicals / poisons to seed clouds, this means to disperse precipitation from clouds so they do not produce rain but will eventually gather in other areas and form clouds and even flood those areas. They can also make an existing storm that's coming become worse than expected! Many people and even scientist know that this is being done for sinister purposes but they get black listed if they make it known and the every day people get ridiculed as being conspiracy theorists. For many years God has blessed America for being biblical and God fearing as he has also blessed other countries in the West that feared God. Unfortunately as more and more Americans and Westerners become hard hearted and have rejected God, he has no choice but to step back and when God steps back the enemy comes in and takes over. This is particularly sad for the innocent people. Especially the innocent people in those floods! This is what's happening now right before our very eyes. People are becoming materialistic, complacent, hard hearted, self centred, perverted and turning to Paganism again. The more wicked we become and the more we reject God the less blessings, warnings and interventions we will receive as a people! We all need to now more than ever both, individually and as a family stay close to the Holy Ghost so we can be warned of danger and flee when we are warned! It's our choice to reject God and forfeit our blessings! On the other hand sometimes bad, horrible and wrong things happen to good people like Job! In this instance it's called the refiners fire and gold is being refined or the diamond in rough is getting the hard bits knocked off! God Bless!

It’s Tuesday seeing this and we are in Southeast Georgia and we don’t have power or water having to go to my daughters an hour away filling up water jugs and taking showers there It is mentally and physically tiring but all my family and extended family are Praise God for that. There is so much devastation everywhere but we are uniting as communities should and helping one another.Glad y’all are safe❤
