Something Beautiful by Newsboys from the Film Miss HIV
História linda. Contando hoje para as crianças
A very good movie, such an amazing story.
UCU!
missionaries are the scourge of the indigenous people.
First off this movie and story is one of the finest in history I totally encourage you to see this. Secondly the message of Jesus is real, he saved me from fentanyl please if you have answers go talk to Jesus and find his path he is real and loves you and saves all from death who put their faith in him. Thirdly this film is so good and true, its taken from the book "through gates of splendor". My favorite in the movie was Kimo as he was the first Wowedani who heard the message that their God did not want them to spear, but instead he was speared and did not spear back, in other words talking about Jesus crucifixion. Some tourists were giving Steve Saint a hard time for being a missionary to the Wowedani people, they then heard about all the spearings and asked if they were safe being around these natives and Steve Saint said, "well you're safe now you wont be speared as they now know Jesus"
No need for mission trips. Lots of americans need help here at home.
even my biggest kids cried. So heart warming
Why do yt people always trying to force their religion on others. They don’t need your help.
After looking into and reviewing comments. It was 5 missionaries, the wives went back to that location. There's a movie "End of a Spear" here's the trailer link. ruclips.net/video/YS_RFrmFgyg/видео.html
i'm trying to figure out more of this story, my grandfather was involved with this missionary trip. It caused him lots of issues. He died years ago now but sill interesting to look into sometimes
Had a few missionaries who went through similar events speak at my old university, and always did love hearing of how the faith and sacrifice of martyrs can save a whole civilization
If I may, voice my opinion, coming from the position of a passionate, creative performer, among other titles, the clips are secondary, to the musicians creation. Primarily, Mrs. Mullen creates an inspiring, depiction of her own unique, interpretation of expression, coming from her heart. Naturally, from true thoughts and feelings, a creative, musical story is born. The movie clips are an excellent selection, which, in my opinion, adds and enhances, this noble, heartfelt and tragic incident. I enjoyed seeing Michelle pour out herself, in honor, of these courageous missionaries. Thank you, all, for sharing your time and insightful true thoughts and feelings, on this video. All my love dear ones. Namaste 🙏🦂🙏
Forgiveness can be a powerful thing and we all can learn this through God through our Savior Jesus Christ. I know when things happen upon this world of many sufferings but really disappoints me is when I hear people say God is a mean God that is his fault that is somewhat suffering upon this world and first when I didn't have a relationship with God through My Savior Jesus Christ. I thought the same thing that God put all the suffering but we are the ones that causes the chaos and evil of wickedness but the one that started the wickedness is the devil he had too much pride in heaven and pride turn into sin. Just imagine the god of the universe the one and only true God of Jesus Christ came to this tiny beautiful plant that he created to save us but just imagine how many grams of sand upon this world is more galaxies and the universe than every grain of sand. Now that is mind-blowing that our human mind sometimes can't comprehend the power the wisdom and the knowledge that he has but especially the love that he has for us to I just wish more people will have a relationship with God to Jesus Christ through his holy spirit that more people will truly repent of their sins. But not all people are going to do this upon this world because the Lord gives us free will to choose him or not.
Ex muslim new convert to Christianity I just found out about these people .
Sois puissamment bénie, fille du Roi Très-Haut.
Those fanatics missionaries did so much bad in the history, it s good to know sometimes it turned bad for them too
Would you mind explaining what bad they did?
“When the time comes to die, make sure that all you have to do is die!” ~ Jim Elliot. It is poingant to see these precious ones rise in strength and grace and face unbelievable difficulty and sorrow. How much easier their lives had been if those men had taken "normal" jobs and "normal" paths. How much shallower and how poorer I would be today. I owe a great debt of faith to these fathers and mothers of the faith who paid such a high price for influence. I love them. I appreciate them.

Superb....
This is a great memory god has a plan for every thing
Going where you're not wanted and trying to force your ignorant hateful superstition -- and your diseases -- on people who aren't interested and don't want you there? Yeah, real heroes. Too bad more "missionaries" don't follow their example.
I’ve been trying to find this movie for years. Until I heard of Jim Elliot man this is crazy
Leaders of the Huaorani group had expressed to the missionaries that they did not want their private lives molested any longer by the Christian outsiders. Eventually they had no other option but to carry out what they were threatening to do for along time. The Missionaries first made contact with the Huaorani by dropping bags of raw sugar & hard candies into the communities as they flew by. As time went on the missionaries continued to entice contact by air dropping toys, model airplanes & fruits that the people were unaccustomed to. W/in time the missionaries had established themselves well enough to touch ground & freely initiate their methods to evangelize. The missionaries were soon understanding that many individuals were non receptive or defiant to the Westerner's ways- giving up of their traditional beliefs, culture that was familiar to them. Where as others individuals that were more enthralled with the newcomers. The Missionaries had to eventually create divides amongst the communities. Creating "an are you with us or are you with them" scheme. The "followers" were told to leave their more traditional family members and start a new settlement where they were promised a church, school, Rice, sugar - "all of the gifts of God". Fighting & quarrels began within this newly contacted community. As traditional hunters/gatherers, the Huaorani were almost continually on the move. Relocating to new seasonal hunting, fishing $ harvesting areas. The group was soon planning on moving to another camp to Hunt. But the missionaries discouraged the move as that would make it impossible for the missionaries planes to reach the new grounds. The missionaries promised that God would continue to feed them in the form of rice- sugar & whatever else could be brought by plane & motorized boat if they stayed. Strife was smoldering. The missionaries began a routine of taking the "followers" with them in their outgoing flights, removing essential members of the tribe. This made it impossible for the tribe to move all together as an essential family. Eventually the missionaries were met with threats by the Community upon their return landings. The Huaoranis that were being sent off were being use as "poster childs" for furthur Evangelizing efforts for
The film brought my very, very, very strong father to absolute tears. Praises to God!
Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. ✝️🕊💞
this movie is soooooo good!!!
Good movie
Where are these women's now?
They’ve gone on to glory.
Haleluyah!! God Bless Palestina, Merdeka!! from Indonesia,.
Amazing video. I lived in Palestine for a year and I miss it so much. This video brought back so many memories. Powerful imagery and music.
"Pray girls, I'm sure this is the day." The day for WHAT? They had already made friends with some natives. So what did they mean when they said "Pray girls. I'm sure this is the day?"
This is the day we are ging to meet them
These women are my heroes.
This is one of the best movie
Just discovered Elisabeth has since passed...I’m going to buy this dvd and share with my family. To God be the glory!
And so shall we be with the Lord forever. For we are dead and our life is hid with Christ in God.
something beatiful..😢😢
Looks pretty good tbh
The native who speared Steve Saints dad ended up becoming best friends with his son. Can you imagine your best friend who at one time speared your dad to death. That is the basis of christianity, to love your enemies and be kind to all. Christianity has been bloody at times can you imagine how bloody it would have been if Jesus said, attack your enemy if he attacks you. He said love your enemies and that is the truth. Peace from canada, Jesus saved me from 30 years of fentanyl addiction, can you imagine what he can do with Good people like you?
Evangelicals are incapable of minding their own business. I need to go to the spear store for the next time a Mormon, Jehovah's Witness, or one of these goons bangs on my door during my Sunday morning hangover.
I personally believe the Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses have it all wrong just because of this. They turn people off to God because they push so hard. Know that these types of people (no mater what denomination) are not representing God but their own ideas of what is right. God loves you, and if you every desire to know him you don't have to go to church or say the right prayer, or any of those lies that "church" tells you. I promise if you truly ask God to show himself to you, that he will. Not the "church" or the Mormons, But God and God alone. I have experienced Gods presence first hand and I promise it will change you forever.
You're a GD idiot. There was no noble savage. Thank god(and I dont even believe in god) the Roman Empire were incapable or minding their own business when they colonized what we now know as Britain. Without these "goons" you wouldnt be on RUclips, enjoying your living room furniture, AC & heat or what I like to call civilization since instead wed be enjoying human sacrifices & lived under such savagery & ignorance as all tribes did including at one time ours did. Jesus was a peace loving hippy. Muhammad was a savage war lord who spread the faith with the sword. Easy to sit back and judge one all the hard works done.
Do you think that John Allen Chau will get his own movie? i can only imagine it will be something like, weekend at Bernie's
It would be nice to leave some sort of tribute to him.
If only we can highlight his stup1dity and arrogance.
Glorifying the needless death of religious zealots is what got John Allen Chau killed. Please stop glorifying tragedies like this.
Holy Coolaid=>What an unfortunate comment this of yours...
@John Sargeant A lot of people from all different religions have died for their god/gods. All of them were 100% convinced they were "doing God's will." This kind of thinking is extremely harmful.
Please learn more about the zeal of these honorable men!
These are Biblical, GOD-fearing warriors. We ought to aspire to be just like them! They're a great example of GOD's faithfulness through suffering times. May the LORD continue to use this amazing story to raise up men and women who will not shy away from risks, but embrace them for His glory.
Yes
Memories :')
Most excellent!! :..). Thank you.
WTF they use a caucasian actor??? Thats wrong, disrespectful and racist..............
Olive Fleming is my Dad's cousin. His name is Bob Swanson and he turns 91 this year. I found a couple of pictures of Olive with her parents when she was maybe 10, and then a teenaged picture of her in with my Grandpa's things, and asked Dad who they were. That's when he told me the story. Olive, if you read this, Dad would love to hear from you!
Who is Olive?
Wife of peter Flemming
WHY do these religious nuts insist on TRESPASSING AND SHOVING their beliefs on people who do not care for their beliefs? WHY?
Lola Nino If you believed what we do, that there are two choices, either accept a loving God who offers life forgiveness and peace, or reject him and go to a place that was not made for us but that we must go by default if we do not choose Jesus... (Because our own sin and rejection of Him makes it impossible to be in His perfect and holy presence. Our choice, not His) ..... If you believed that, how much would you have to hate someone to not tell them? Be well Lola.
YOUR ANSWER , HOW MUCH WOULD I HATE SOMEONE WHO CHOSE NOT TO TELL ME THERE IS A IMAGINARY PERSON WHO KNOWS WHICH PILL TO TAKE, THE RED OR THE BLUE...WELL JOSH...I WOULD TAKE BOTH..AND ENJOY MY TRIP...AGAIN, U AND UR RELIGIOUS TWITS ARE WHATS WRONG W/THIS WORLD...
Why are you so angry? You are free to your own decisions and beliefs which you have openly expressed. If you are going to speak of others keeping their beliefs to themselves, why would that not also apply to those who hate my God and openly bash Him and His followers as you are doing? If I am guilty of shoving my beliefs on anyone, you are guilty of the same. Just because believers in Jesus want to see others come to the same conclusion, we still believe in everyone's free choice. But it is our responsibility to tell those who haven't heard so that they can make an informed decision. My messages to you are in kindness and love. Yours seem quite hateful, and no one has wronged you.
Lola Nino how are they shoving their beliefs? Are they not just presenting another view and allowing the people to choose?
who asked u to watch?
One of the best Movies i ever saw.
these might be the toughest people on earth and with God they're unstoppable!

Only real Christians can know GOD with True Faith and feel His Great Love!
I read that the Wadoni's formerly distrustful nature cam from how they were treated by the conquistadors. If it hadn't been for those five men, the tribe likely would've wiped themselves out.
