I was assaulted when I was 5 but I dont really remember what happened. However I have the symptoms of sexual abuse, I feel anxious around man, i have vaginismus and im hypersexual but if a man tries to pursue me i panicked. Sorry for my bad grammar english is not my first language

I’m 30 now. I came to my family with concerns about my childhood just about 2-3 years ago. I’ve been in therapy dealing with feelings from my childhood for some time now, but bringing up my concerns I felt only made it worse for me because I was told that no.. this person who did this wasn’t capable of doing those things. So a lot of the time I deal with feelings of being unsure because I was a lot younger when I believe these things were going on. It’s hard to go back 20 something years and pin point all the details. I live every day with the feeling of being crazy like I had made up some story. You’re brave to come out like this. Thanks for being there and being strong to share your story. Idk if I’ll ever get the closure I need or want from my family. I don’t think I’ll ever really get the full truth, but I’m glad to know I can keep moving forward through it all.

I’m sorry you have these experiences but I’m happy you are doing well and posting videos about it for the people that feel alone for situations like this. You speak very clearly and are easy to listen to, you are gonna help a lot more people than you could ever think

I should do a "My Living Among Brainwashed Zombies" story. Believe me, it's even worse than that and kind of like being Rosemary in Rosemary's Baby, where she finds out everybody she knows is a satanist.

You're so strong. I'm a fellow SA survivor, mine was from my father. I took him to court and there was a hung trial. The prosecutor was going to try him again when he took a plea deal. He got no jail time, but put on the S Offenser list. It's far from justace, but my story is not over. I admire your strength to share your impact statement (something I have not been able to do publicly yet). I've overcome so much PTSD. There are things you can never get back after that type of abuse, but just like a broken bone can grow back stronger, that's what I have done and will help build up all others. I hope the best for you ❤ Your strength is amazing!

As someone who hasn’t reported my assaulter due to him being in my close family I’m so thankful you got your justice .You are so beautiful I’m so glad you were able to report your assaulter and get your peace and justice for your trauma. Yes you are right

At the age of 10 I had to move to UK. It was a new environment, new people, an entirely new society and on top of that my I was so focused on what people thought of my English pronunciation so the easiest solution seemed to just not talk to other people. I missed making opportunity to make friends, attend cool events and overall just have a great time. You may think that being so closed off from other people is ok but in reality, for me being introverted did me no good at all and I'm so glad that I started doing something about it to make a difference in my life. All I'm trying to say, please, learn from my mistakes. Don't be like young me, get out of your comfort zone. If you want to improve your life there will be no one to pick you up but yourself and no matter how hard the path might seems to be, at the end all of the struggles will be worth it.
