Brave man, many respects. So I find the track bumpy on four wheels I would guess that it would be worse on two wheels. Items I'm not happy with: - Walls from Turn 1 to Turn 3 need to be pushed back - More curbing at apex and track out - Surface is starting to get bumpy (due to clay sub grade) - Needs pea gravel rather than milling in runout areas - Though dirt is more effective at stopping you on an off track excursion it's not as pleasant to the eye as grass Do you have other things to add to the list?
Not exactly, he's a friend and I volunteered to film him for a while so he could see his line. It's a small club (practically our own personal track) so we all know each other.
Sorry but I don't pay attention to the cones. They were good for the very first few laps but once I get used to my line I don't even notice them anymore.

Ha, yea I guess a silt fence is easier on the car than a concrete wall :) Seriously though, they still have some lingering signs of construction here and there. What I wonder is what is going to go at that exact location. There is a kink in that corner and the silt barrier forces you to drive around the kink, if they don't put something there you will be able to drive right through it. I remember when Summit Point first opened the Shanandoah circuit, it was rough and carved out with concrete walls. Now it is much better, I suspect that Dominion Raceway will get a little better each year as they figure out ideal improvements.

Jabs1542 nope you sum it up....my biggest complaint was the wall in 1 and the paddock and tec.

+Jabs1542 gotcha. Most of us at Vir do the same thing. That's what I meant by "waving off".

I felt good about Lap 6 so I took it up a notch, Lap 7 got real exciting - twice! I really need to get off of these street tires.
