At that point there is rarely one player being better or worse, the true factors of those fights are things such as timing, ping, fps, luck, exploits, firerate, damage etc. the better player wont win, the player with the better setup/in game kit will be the one to win. Because as I said there is no better player, you are equals. The only thing to determine who wins are those small advantages that seem as if they dont matter. And when skilled based matching or competitive play is a thing, this is true for everyone, u are matched against people of your own skill level making this apply to all matches.

Dude doesn’t know how betting works. You’re betting on outcomes and the probability that something happens. Let’s say for example someone bet the over on themself for 10 catches, it’s not a fair bet becuz they could have insider knowledge that they’re more involved in the gameplay not becuz they simply “go harder”. But beyond that once money is on the line you run into issues where said person is at 9 catches and all of sudden they’re hampering their own team to get that last catch, or the more obvious one where they bet the under to begin with and then begin dropping passes, playing worse, ect
