Stay safe out there! I would be interested to know if the onboard amenities are being extended. Obviously you have to eat, but are the specialty restaurants open? Did they extend the drink packages? Are there shows happening during all of this? Pease. Love and Prayers!

We are sailing on the Sun Princess in January 2025. I have to admit if I had realized the buffet was crew serve, I would not have booked it. We really HATED the crew serve buffet on our last HAL cruise. You had to beg for every pat of butter, and heave help you if you forgot a condiment with all the lines. You couldn’t even get ketchup for your fries without a crew member having to hand it to you. Needless to say, food got cold!

I have been in numerous Sabatini’s across the fleet and found them all disappointing. The last time we were on Sky Princess it was so bad we complained and walked out!

Gotta admit. You did good. I also have a small room that’s 11x12. It took me about 2 months to transform. I (like you) reused some existing speakers plus purchased some new speakers. I used Klipsch. My projector is the Hisense L9G 100”. I did everything except the painting. I hired someone to do that. I had to redo the wood flooring and patch the drywall. I removed upper and lower cabinets and reused them in the garage.

What is the minimum bet on the tables?

even if the room was comped, i would asked for another room, the foot of the bed was falling apart. that would be dangerous and annoying getting in and out of bed. you're too nice. i'm disappointed with bellagio's team

This hotel is probably one of the best locations in Athens for walking to shops and restaurants and sight seeing. But not a very welcoming lobby kinda small with tiny elevators fit 3 people with luggage and breakfast buffet is also small. Location sells this place that’s it

@6:53 that's the butlers quarters that's why it has it's own entrance. Years ago Luxor offered full service butlers for these suites. They would make you breakfast in bed.

the asian food at buffet fair.....no egg foo young either, reserve dining weeks before going or you're stuck with buffet.

The old Sabbatinis food was excellent! Not a fan of the new one.

We have just returned from a nine night cruise on the Sun to some fantastic places. Unfortunately some of the areas were still not ready which put a strain on some other areas of the ship (the piazza, live lounge and OMalleys). One night we couldn’t get a seat so returned to our cabin. There was one production performance which was stopped towards the end due to technical reasons (the floor stuck) and the Dome acrobatic show was a dress rehearsal (a long queue formed at 6am for tickets) and inside those on the tiered seating had a good view but those of us on the top level couldn’t see unless we stood up and still had a restricted view. Both shows I’m sure will be good though. Park 19 wasn’t open either. In the Piazza the top level, those who are not on the front rows of seats only have a view of half the floor area so if the artist moves forward they cannot be seen and in Crooners you were forced to only listen to the music from the Piazza because it’s not closed off. Finally the full length blue glass on deck 9 was a disappointment to us because due to the spray on the glass clear views were not always possible preventing photography / videography. All that said I’m sure Princess are and will learn as they go on and others will have a different experience to us. We have paid a future cruise deposit but it remains to be seen if we will use it or go back to Celebrity.
