Is the purpose of this style of music to not have any harmony between the notes? I'm new to this genre.
I wish I knew! I just like the rhythms together. I feel like it's a form of jazz, and is about making musical choices on the fly. Those who can do it and create a great sensation from it are masters of the craft.

Original comments reprinted for posterity: Ted Ted 5 years ago I saw him in Bakersfield. Cleared the room. People need to be fully aware of what's happening with the Crystal Boot Comedian. His is in a horrible place emotionally and economically, he is a lost soul. He stayed over at my house in Reno in 1999 and he cried the ENTIRE night, when I asked him what was going on, he would just reply with one of his 10,000 jokes, this happened the entire night. 20 years later I have been told his doing even worst.
