But why are you getting a negative feedback for reacting to a new band when you are a reaction channel? People are not supposed to be coming here because they want to listen to the song. I've seen that whole concert a million times. I'm not here to listen to the song and shut you up I'm here to know what you think. That's the purpose of every reaction channel. Vocal Gymnastics, great way to put it! But 3 octaves of Floor is incredible. I love Amy Lee's singing, but Floor is Amy on steroids, imo.

You mentioned effortless around the 12:30ish mark. Fun fact…..this was song 13 out 15/16 songs that night in front of 82k fans. If it’s effortless that far in to the show……you know you’ve got a top tier vocalist. And yes, Floor has some classical training. You should hear her sing Phantom of the Opera with Henk Port on Die Beste Zängers. It’s beautiful. If you don’t know him, he’s a famous Dutch vocalist who portrayed the Phantom on stage. Another fun fact: when their 2nd female vocalist “left” the band, they contacted Floor and asked if she wanted to sing for them but she’d have to learn the set list in 48hrs. And she did. There’s a documentary on YT. There is a reactor called Viking Reacts (he’s Dutch) and he’s made a mashup with Nightwish and Dan Vasc. If you don’t know him he’s a Brazilian metal singer with over 220 covers. Over 1M subs. He also has a metal band named Fearless. He has covered several Nightwish songs. He is a chameleon and can sing anything. He’s also had some classical training. But he’s known for covering everything from metal to opera (Nessun Dorma) to musicals (Gethsemane and Music of the Night) to 80’s to folk to Elvis and more. Hail VascNation❤

That very high singing of the chorus: It was a children's choir on a backing track in the time Annette sang it. It made sens, a children's choir in a song named Storytime. Floor sang the children's choir part exactly as it was sang on the backing track.

I love this song, and this is an excellent analysis. I would just offer one comment that the words "love" and "you" in the lower backup vocal part (in the chorus line "players only love you when you're playing") are the same E pitch.

The amazing thing about this performance which was in 2013 at the Wacken metal festival the largest festival in Europe, she was not there regular singer she was a substitute for this show, because they're regular singer was unable to perform. This is basically the first time that she played with the band and she had not sung all these songs you know hundreds of times. That's how incredible she is. The whole last part of this performance of this song she improvised live and the band just followed her lead. Needless to say she became their permanent and current singer.

The new cd is ❤you must lissen it. If you lissen good you notist the order off songs on every cd and live . Froor gets time to recover after high solo. The end ore song after have a longer intro ore ending. Sharon den Adel dutch aswel from the metalband whitin temptation is breadtaking aswel

Tbh... I love your energy and genuine suprise and curiosity. The brakes in between are perfectly arranged. Don't worry about negative comments. The majority of viewers know you have to deal with copyrights and necessary brakes. I'm not a singer. So listening to your analysis in my language is simply lovely.. 🙂 Funny enough, about this video or Nightwish/Floor Jansen, the more you watch it, the less surprises it holds and you start to see the painting in the colours. Amazing, innit. I mean we all can paint somehow. I recently painted half a wall white. Looked amazing! But it's not a Rembrandt, van Gogh or Warhol. The longer you watch, or the more often you do, you start to hear the music in these Nightwish songs. All of it. From cello to drum and from guitar I vocals.
