HOLLY F FINALLY!! I always wanted to play BFV but the cosmetic options ruined the WW2 setting for me. This should have been a feature from the start and it should be in any shooter. Cod and siege are ruined by stupid cosmetics too.

I visited Ypres on June 2023 (my first time in Europe, I'm Argentinean). My CouchSurfing host lent me his bike to go visit the battlefields, museum, cemeteries, etc. I didn't make it all the way to Passchendale, due to time constraints, but that's OK; I saw plenty (a man can only visit so many cemeteries in just one day) and got a good look at the Road to Passchendaele. It was a beautiful sunny day, crazy to think that that whole area once looked like this. Even crazier to think that I was looking at stretches of beautiful fields that were most certainly littered with buried bodies, as more than 42,000 were never recovered. About 3 days later, I was doing the same in Verdun.

Mod still works and the new customization choices are great, especially for the Americans and Germans imo. Just wish the British were given the more badass paratrooper gear instead of the uglier standard army uniforms.

It is sad the state of gaming today: Pandering to the kids who like spending money on skins to "Flex" on their friends. Immersion, roleplay, and simulation for the most part are gone(with the exception of a few gems like Squad and Hell Let Loose) Battlefield series needs to be developed by an indie studio with people who care about video games, not a AAA studio who cares about money.

BFV was underrated. I’m convinced that if they hadn’t marketed it so weirdly, and if they’d gone for a more historical aesthetic, people would’ve loved it. The squad play was great!
