How to video to change out your capacitors and fuse in the power supply of Brother Knitting Machines KH 910,930,940 and 950.
Capacitors age with time and can explode during use. It is important to exchange the old yellowed capacitors even if that hasnt happened yet.
Note: I held the machine in such a way to show you where to unpop the "buttons". when you do it just turn over the machine and rest on a towel etc for your convinience.

Buongiorno, ho una frast leddy 910 mentre lavoravo ha fatto uno scoppio è uscito del fumo ,si è spento il computer, se per gentilezza mi potete aiutare a farla riparare, mi trovo in Basilicata Matera, qui non c'è nessuno vi sarei molto grata se mi aiutate grazie.
Я могу помочь. Прошло два года и возможно вы нашли решение проблемы. Ничего страшного в этом нет. У самого такое случилось месяц назад. Нужно поменять два конденсатора на маленькой плате перед трансформатором. И предохранитель там же на 0,5А. Детали стоят (все вместе) около 2-3 евро.

Sorry I dont know anyone in your area. What you describe is the capacitor exploding because it has aged badly. the video shows you exactly what to do. Hi, the gold capacitor is not correct in this kit, I think theres a seller on etsy who is selling a kit with 1 part incorrect, looking at the gold coloured capacitor, the original says 0.047uf (which is 47nF) and the replacement that went in says 4n7 which is 0.0047uf (4.7nF). I'm not sure if this causes any problems, but its not the correct replacement.
Hi, thanks for the query. I had 2 electronics experts recommend the 4n7 and I have used it in 20 machines already that function normally. Until now I havent had any complaints.

Is it possible to instal the AYAB Shield and still be able to use the KH-900 row counter?
Hi, no unfortunately not since the case is one piece with the old hardware. I have designed a new row counter housing with extra tool holders that you can buy from my shop www.redpinkgreen.de
Hi, thank you for your very informative videos. I wanted to ask you a question, I changed the capacitors to a 930 kh, but when I turn on the machine, the fuse blows, and I can't figure out where the problem can come from. What do you think about it? Thank you
Well, I would think it is getting too much voltage. Do you have a low voltage machine (110V, eg us machine build) and are giving it 230V? I think posting this in the fb group would get quickest results facebook.com/groups/1384431355220966/

I just had to do the reset because 888 flashing appeared (it’s Kh 930). Now everything works. I Will immediately john your facebook group. Thank you very much. …… Sorry for my bad English
