We are a national charity supporting people affected by major trauma. We provide practical and emotional support, alongside NHS clinical care, for patients and their loved ones. From day one and for as long as people need us.
Dear Me - Lily-Mae's Letter
Lily-Mae broke 15 bones in her skull and suffered a brain injury when she was knocked to the floor in a freak zorbing accident while on holiday. Mum Katie and Lily-Mae were supported by Day One after the accident. Her family have gone on to fundraise for the charity, so other children get the support they need in hospital wards all over the country.

Dear Me - Henry's Letter

Henry’s leg was amputated after a motorbike crash, resulting in years of recovery. When in hospital, he was supported by a Day One volunteer.
