Ok, so I did just check the website and it does still work but it looks like you have to change a setting. In the top right, you should see some buttons. Click on the layer button. In the new window that opens it should show a dropdown that says fish attractors. To the far right, you should see 3 dots. Click on those dots and click on enable popups. That fixed it for me. Yes, I do have Navionics on my Samsung phone. the app is available for both Android and iPhone products. I believe you can use your phone's browser to view the charts as well. I'm sure there are some locations that may not have as detailed mapping in the oceans.

Lol I won't send you my waypoints, but I am more than happy to help you find your own. I have not used I-boating myself, but it does appear to be a very popular option. I use the Navionics app when I am not on my boat. All you need is an app to show you the contour lines of the lake. During winter I mainly would focus on main lake points. I target either on top of the drop off or right on the drop. If you're like me and my kayak doesn't have pedal drive or trolling motor, then you may want to move to a secondary point in a creek. This way you're not fighting the wind as much. I will be making more tutorial videos soon to help explain in more detail. I hope this helps!

How does the transducer gives you information without being on the water?

@jensendejesus6629 it will attempt to run even though it isn't on the water. It won't be very accurate without water but it will try.

Congrats! Yeah I still haven't picked up livescope either. This locator is a beast you are going to love it. I took my boat out last week and did put this thing to work. The detail it gives is unmatched for it's price point. Especially if you get it on sale 😆. Tight lines!

@@OklahomaFishingAdventure I did! I ordered mine from the Bass Tank. For whatever reason, they don't charge a sales tax, so I paid $699. If I had bought it from the BassPro that's 5 miles from my house, I would have paid $699 plus a sales tax. So I saved even more money! It's such an incredible value! I fish a 30 acre lake. It's a public lake, but it has no boat access ramp. I am literally the only person that fishes this lake! Prior to me buying the Helix 5 Si, the only map I found for that lake was from 1950! I mapped it with AutoChart Live and learned alot! Looking forward to do the same with the Quickdraw feature, then compare the 2 maps. It's going to be a good year! 👍🏼 😃

I was looking for some Local Fishing reports. For some reason your Vid popped up for me to watch so hey I'm here. I have the same straps for my Tahoe, a bit smaller than your Burban. I took the the extra webbing and cut it off used a lighter to melt the ends then used the scrap of strap I cut off and made a loop with it using the male end of the quick release. I then unscrewed the garment hook made a small hole in the 2 ends of the small loop with the quick release and screwed the garment hook back in place thru the small holes I made. Now when I go to install my rod slings for a trip I just clip them in to the buckles attached to the hooks. Best of luck this summer and tight lines from NW PA.

@@madmullets Thanks for stopping by! Yeah, you definitely have to do some modifications for the Tahoe/Suburban-style vehicles. They do work pretty well afterward though.
