Просмотров 11 тыс.2 года назад
As a young boy Alberto A. Gutiérrez was interested in European sports cars. As a teen he had a Dino slot car which was his absolute favorite car to race at the local slot track. After collecting a number of classic and modern sports cars he bought his first Ferrari about 15 years ago which was a 1969 365 GT 2 2. That was followed by a 328 GTS, a 360 Modena and then about four years ago this ver...
Why the Datsun 1600 and 2000 Roadsters were such landmark Japanese sports cars.
Просмотров 27 тыс.2 года назад
In the late ‘60s, the most common small convertible sports car was probably the British-made MGB roadster. But there was a Japanese alternative from the land of the Rising Sun that offered up crisp styling, tight handling and a rorty inline-4 cylinder: the Datsun Roadster. Initially the 1500 Roadster came to the U.S. with an 85-horsepower four-cylinder, which in 1966 was enlarged to a 1600-cc. ...

1965 Maserati Mistral Coupe: End of an Era
Просмотров 9 тыс.2 года назад
With the introduction of the Mistral, Maserati began its tradition of naming its Gran Turismo cars after famous winds. The Mistral's two-seater fastback body was designed by Pietro Frua and the first prototype was shown at the Turin Motor Show in 1963, though production did not start until 1964. The Mistral was powered by a race-bred inline-6 cylinder engine that came in 3.5-liter, 3.7-liter an...

Automobiles, particularly those of the vintage and classic variety, are far more than four-wheeled conveyances for simply getting us around. Hang out around them long enough, and the right car can morph into something approaching a friend and companion that we share adventures and the ups and downs of life with. They can mirror our human interactions, sometimes passing in and out of our lives f...

i recognize this lil bundle of joy. I did customising as the previous owner of that particur vehicle. Is this in Victoria, B.C. I use to own this car until accident took her from me. Thank you for taking such good care of her. Even right down to the wicker floor mats 100 percent this was my "beamer". feel free to comment new owner again im elated to see her performing on the malahat.
I own a 1986 944 Turbo, stock. Love it, her name is ‘Molly’, if you know the reference you know.
Most beautiful car on the planet
it’s a damn shame that modern Ferraris look like GTA cars ….they used to have such a simple, elegant, and timeless design!
Man nice 951 great mids WHAT KING SUNGKASSES YOU WEARING PERSOLS ?? Model
From 71 till 74 I owned a 1969, 2000 with the Solex Carbs, what a great car.
You will NEVER get that feeling from a Tesla .... they are Soul-less

So, why do they cost so much? Because someone upgraded this one?
You guys are awesome! Thank you for the great content.
i hope it's yours
I was in an urban area. This was the big time drug dealer ride. I've loved it since high school.
$19,900 even back in the early 1993 for a Pantera is an absolute steal 😯
Air intakes really love front engines like for example hot Vee turbo V8 or classic V8. Could a turbo be split up? The turbine would sit at the back. Then three phase electric cables at 1 kV AC go to the nose to the centrifugal compressor. Air filter as in the Viper. Carbon tube carries air under the cabin. Relocate the shifter to the steering wheel (paddles). I kinda hate manuals. A computer is much faster at thinking. Just needs modern electric servo motors to bang in the gear at a fast speed. Exactly hitting the gaps between the dog teeth. The Computer would overwrite your input and you feel force feedback if you shift wrong. Same for clutch. Automatic rev match for downshifts. Oh, so it seems that I want that shifter stick, but also want the air tunnel. Ah tragedy.
I sold my 1966 912 in 2011 when I was buying my house. I called her Jessie. I miss her everyday.
No , actually yes you should drive it every day, or buy a second, its too great a car not to drive
Had a chance to buy one of these as a first car & passed on it because I thought Mercedes were unreliable. Had no idea they actually made a receivable car that would have been worth 10x’s what I paid, today.
Still looks modern and awesome today. This car got a bad rap. They fixed the oil pan issue after the first year and if you got a 6-cylinder engine in anything from 86-88, it was a fine car.
What a beaut.
and now you pay here in europe 30 to 80k for a good one
Red FD pre facelift is the one. One day, it’s my attainable dream car
One of the best designed cars ever made, And that sound
I had a 1968 Datsun 2000 really nice car fast and it would take corners like a train on a track wish i kept i have been looking for another one hard to find one
Now if only they could swap a 6 speed manual into a Mercedes 500E W124 !
I was fortunate enough to find a special version which is super rare, don´t have exact numbers but super low number. So in 2022 i found a genuine Hartge H6S, basically a competitor to Alpina B9 3.5, sounds rare right. Its a 1984 635csi euro spec, manual transmission with LSD and the Hrtge Engine package which has 242 hp. Its not been it top condition but overall good condition for about 30K €. Till now i have put some money in it and fitted original M-Technic aero package, a complete supersprint stainless exhaust system, BBS steering wheel, new tail lights which are usually defect on all cars and more. Till now It costed me 42k so far and there is still room for improvement. I belive it is a good investment for the future and i would say its the only Bahama beige H6S with M tech aero package in the world. So a one off car which should climb in value over the years, not that im planning to sell it anytime soon, if ever.
Awesome!
Exhilarating😃!
love these. great vid
If YOU would push it to its limits you’d die.
Fascinating car, would love to have one!
WOW! Just, WOW!! My absolute dream car. Awesome story, sir. If I ever acquire a Pantera, I will be buried in it.
So, how reliable has it been for you? What’s the schedule for the timing belt? Does it need a valve job like the BMW 2.5 every 5000 miles? There’s a ‘87 924S I’m looking at with 57k miles. Looks pristine. Thanks. Great review!
First car I bought on my own was a 1969 Datsun 1600. Great fun, particulary when the top was down.
Takes a lot to get them sorted out, but a great car once finished. I have owned two of them, it is an awesome driver and very roomy compared to a 911. The shifter is the best I have experienced compared to any Porsche.
I’ve always like the euro 500SL, with the higher compression engines and euro bumpers. The US model looked awful in comparison. This conversion seems very well done. Unfortunately there is not much you can do about the steering and transmission, which are decidedly un-sporty.
Warm Fuzzy feelings
Great video I will have one of these one day
I owned an '88 Fiero GT that I bought new. To this date it's the only car I've owned that I wish I had never sold.
How is the 914? Is it done? Nice work
Dude i got a 914 and started in on this project back in 2016 and man i know nothing about car restoration or restomods so it has taken me wayyy too long. Anyways just watching these videos now and its given me a lot of motivation. Thank you so much for taking the time to explain things and post this!
Can you please tell me the sizes of the wheels?
Best looking benz ever...❤😊
I did the same thing. It was a really fun car to own and ran like a dream.
Great video and great car! Thank you for sharing!
I had a 69 2000. It had 489,000 miles on it when I sold it. I rebuilt the engine at 70k when it threw a rod. 419,000 on the rebuild, it was bulletproof.
They was a guy he owen a phamacy brought one new i throught it was the best looking car ever black b model
Hearing real overrun always makes the VAG and MB cars' artificial tuning sound like crap.
Dark green one Summit park looked at 5k same green one?
I could listen to this car making passes all day
You paid 19.000 for your first Panterra 😭😭😭😭
