Why playing Helldivers in coop is hard (and funny)
These were the men and women who fought and died to give us the chance to fight and die for Democracy today. o7
The jump pack in HD1 lets you jump frequently but at a limit, whereas HD2's lets you keep the pack indefinitely but have to wait 20 seconds between jumps.
Even after watching this 10 times it's still hype!

This game is atleast 5 times harder than Helldivers 2
It seems to be so much harder than hd2. Huge respect to all heroes, who managed to bring victories for Super Earth in these conditions
feels good when your weapon actually do something on HD1 the feeling I lost in HD2
I miss this music. Maybe I’ll go back to playing HD1 for a bit later today. Both the first and second games have that satirical democracy vibe to it, but when the music for cyborg level 9+ starts blaring it suddenly feels like you’re doing the most important thing in the world, and the future of humanity is on your shoulders.
Wow diff 15 looks easier than diff 6 on HD2 lol
You should try it then. Notrident is making the run look easy. He’s stunning the heavies and taking out most of the armored enemies. Killing tanks with the commando takes a lot of skill.
@@lrdeldric they aren't being constantly ragolled or flinched across the map
@GameFuMaster in HD1 the space between alive and dead are a lot smaller. You can get knocked down but half the time if you get hit by something you're just instakilled
@@lrdeldric You get instakilled by some stuff as well in HD2, like cannon turrets. But the game offers a lot more ways to die without the ability to fight back, like dying to impact, being ragdoll juggled until you die, or being unlucky with a few headshots.

But that’s a theme that’s been present since the first game. Over time you learn how to watch out for them and get better at avoiding them. I would bet you money that no vet of the first game is whining about the current changes of the second game. We expect challenges and expect to have to find ways to overcome them with whatever tools available at the time. Some may seem unfair at first but there’s plenty of options in tactics and gear to try.
The atmosphere for HD1 is so good. The music, sound fx, intensity of gameplay. It's better than HD2 in those regards. I do prefer HD2 overall though just because of the switch in perspective.

Veteran of the first war. HD1 was a masterpiece! I loved the music and the team work needed when things really went sideways and your team got into it. Bring back the convoy escort missions and snowshoes for HD2!

Name of the game "shoot and scoot". Good on you by following that in this, so many people in hd2 just dont get that.
Helldivers were perfect in From above view. I feel like it was a huge mistake just to copycat whole helldivers ganeplay into 3rd person. Feels like a lot of stuff is just better in above view. I really wished hd2 was something more. Content also lacks.

This looks so damn fun. Did you guys know this game has couch coop? 4 Player Couch Coop! If you're a Helldiver fan with friends and roommates its so worth the picking this up today.
Even playing with randoms is fun as hell.
Oh I like the music here, it's definitely more heroic and uplifting than the more ominous ones in HD2

you can solo this pretty easily with just anti vehicle mines.
You find the shed exoskeletons of these things in helldivers 2.. they're still there.. somewhere.

Fr it's got that 2 player diablo feeling. Ain't no fucking way do I wanna be stuck in the same area as all my teamates having to share a camera.

wondering why our jump packs have gotten so archaic since the first galactic war. Hopefully super earth scientists can help us out a bit in the future
I’m guessing that in the time since the last galactic war super earth high command decided to switch to a cheaper jump pack model to mass produce since there was no need for a more expensive combat variant. In scouting operations the current jump pack model does well, it just flounders in the heat of combat.

Love both games, but helldivers 2 is much easier. Hope they add more difficulties and one that also means death if all members did like in h1

@@RobadobaChannel OP as heck from what I know. Imagine the damage and fire rate of the breaker with the spread of the Spray and Pray and the infinite ammo and zero damage fall off of laser weapons.

I played this game, but I never got good enough to play on higher difficulties. So I don't think I ever got to hear this music. It's amazing sounding, and really intense holy shit!
