My stock W211 E63 held a E55 with smaller kompressor pulley so i'm surprised with that video. Maybe the E63 is tired/full tanked and the E55 is almost empty ? lol

coupe other factors that arent accounted for in here that explains why the newer 63 lost and no its not because the 55 is supercharged. The 63 is actually a pano roof car meaning its got another 200lbs over the single sun roof 55 brother. Not to mention he has every window down which is creating a lot of drag. the only reason the 55 won was due to weight difference. if it were a pano roof 55, the 63 would've won. It was pretty impressive to see the 63 with 200 lbs more keeping up with the 55

M6 is way quicker than 63 - 65 it needs to get tuned engine. It's a lot more expensive and they are not in same category. 63 always looses against m5, m6 no matter where. On track amg is lot worse to control and not reliable as m cars. Is good some of the idiots which just looking videos on RUclips to watch bit more tv shows and read bit to get educated. Amg is like mustang lots of power hard to control

I just leased my '16 E63 S wagon, I don't like the new E43 style and it has much less power. Why Benz went this way is beyond me and the new E300 is a 4 cylinder. Why drop the 350? SMH.

I raced W211 E55 AMG in my W216 63 AMG and beat it quite easily. This is weird.

2003 or newer E55 has 469HP and 515 ft/lbs Torque but E63 has 507HP and around 465 ft/lbs so the E55 initially gets ahead then E63's extra horsepower will make it catchup and pass E55 after about 150 yards.

Stock, the E63 wins. But the 55 can be modded much more heavily and easily than a 63. So, if you want to mod and kick the shit out of a 63, get a 55. 55's are more reliable as well.

E55s are fast ! Stockish TBSS has no chance. I've raced my buddies Amg with my Syclone in the 1/8th mile. Syclone 7.20 @ 99 to the amg 8.0 @ 90. No contest ! I told him dont feel bad! It's only a pickup!

Yup, the fastest W211 E63 is 11.95 in the 1/4. The fastest W211 E55 is 10.51. Theoretical final displacement of a 5.5L engine with a 15 PSI pulley equals an 11.1L normally aspirated engine. ((boost pressure + atmospheric PSI/atmospheric PSI) displacement)

Hmm... The old 55 cars were only displacing 5.4L The old 63 (and current C63) only displaces 6.2L ... Then this year they DON'T change the name (still 63 for all models) and replace it back with a 5.5L. Does Mercedes intentionally mislead their engine displacements with their odd naming schemes?

A lot of people on this section also aren't considering that while the e63 definitely has less torque, it doesn't need it at higher speeds.
