Former Ford Factory | Singapore | War Museum
The Former Ford Factory was the place where the British forces
surrendered to the Imperial Japanese Army on 15 February 1942. The Former Ford Factory was restored by the National Archives of Singapore and currently houses a permanent World War II exhibition on the war and its legacies. It was gazetted as a national monument on 15 February 2006.

I explored Katong-Joo Chiat, the heartland of Singapore's Peranakan culture, on a rainy weekend afternoon. Katong-Joo Chiat is filled with many charming heritage shophouses. I tried Da Dong Prawn Noodles, gelato at Birds of Paradise and bought home some nonya kueh from Kim Choo Kueh Chang.

Many who have worked here must be walking down memory lane that filled with nostalgia for the time , space & colleagues they once knew & worked with ... All unions will eventually face their respective dissolutions in due time & space but the important things were that , we being good persons & good citizens & contributed in making our world a little bit safer , healthier , more manageable & happier in our little contributions ...
