In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus begins by telling his disciples the attitudes that God blesses. These are the attitudes that should influence all of our behavior. Some are blessed now and others will be blessed later, when Jesus returns.

It is possible to have victory over self and sin in your walk with Christ. We must learn to walk by the Spirit of God. By doing so, we will not carry out the desires of the flesh. God desires us to love Him with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength. To do so, he gives us The Spirit to help us and lead us.

God's presence is always active in our life. It may not seem like it all the time but the Lord goes before us, follows behind us, and surrounds us every day. In this sermon we take a look at what each of these means as we walk with Him.

In the last days, people will accumulate for themselves teachers who satisfy the itching in their ears. But regardless of what others say or do, we must remain faithful to the Lord and remember what we have learned and to whom we are accountable.

2 Timothy 3:1-9 is an important passage about the moral condition in the last days. The problem is that the warning is not about those outside the church but rather about some who are inside the church. The difficult times described are caused by people within the congregation. Learn what Paul has to say to this young Pastor.

Jesus suffered and we should expect to suffer as well if we live for Him. Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, the Son of David. These summarize what is important in the message of the Gospel. Share it with others.

Sharing the truth in God's Word and the message of the gospel is not always popular. In fact, count on suffering. Jesus suffered in order to bring us salvation, we will be called upon to suffer as well so that others may come to know the truth, God's love, and the Savior.

Timothy had become timid in ministry. Paul addresses this spiritual condition with ways to fan into flame the gift of God - the Holy Spirit who lives inside of us.

Psalm 27:4 One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.
