Jimmy I'm just curious,are you thesame jimmy that dated a friend of mine name cheryl,I've lost track of her ,so I'm not sure where she is,we all use to go dancing Saturday night a place called poplar tavern to name a few,this would be fredericksburg va back in the 70s,spotsylvania,when you start getting older and family is gone you start reminiscing but ever since I saw you with the statler brothers which my family loved I just have this feeling g it's the young man back in the 70s that dated my friend Cheryl my name was brenda lumpkins but I'm a lee now and reside in north carolina. Jimmy, I don't know if you read these or not, but, in case you do, I want you to know that I believe one of the reasons God had you write this song is for me and my mama. Today is her birthday and if she were still alive here on Earth, she would be 104. She went to heaven four years ago, two months shy of her 100th birthday. I too was there the day she left. It was a surreal experience that I hope I never forget. She believed in Jesus and Calvary and heaven and this song just sounds like her to me. So, thank you for writing and singing and recording this song. God bless you.
