He goes there every year for warm weather training that you have to acclimatise to for about a week before starting. He trains just as hard as everyone else, he just doesn’t like doing it. He made a video of training in Dubai in 2018. He is allowed to travel as it’s work related

@@shoanajames2169 He literally says himself he does minimal training, he's always just done stuff in his home gym in the UK in the past so he can stream & likes being home & near to the factory sim, Every driver has trained in Dubai at some point because they usually stay there for few days before Australia GP to avoid 24 hour flight in 1 go & mega jet lag. Back to the point, he literally fled tier 4 to PARTY in Dubai & socialice without masks which is against Dubai laws too. Would've been fine if he chilled out in his Dubai villa before 'training' etc but he was so blatant about it, Even now his contacts are meant to isolate 14 days yet his brother & mate were literally ice skating in Dubai before they quickly deleted the IG story, I like Lando but this rich kid above the law thing & blatant partying is not a good look in a pandemic,

@@d.b.cooper1 he goes there in the January, so he’s back in the factory to prepare for the testing which is only a couple of weeks before Australia where he would be in the MTC using the simulator, they then fly out to Australia with his team a week before the Grand Prix so he and the team can get over any jet lag and acclimatise to the weather. When he left he was at his parents which was tier 3 at the time so no law broken there. Have you not seen the video of Lando at training camp in 2018 obviously not. Lando only streams so often and the only time when he streamed most days was in the original lockdown last year and only in the afternoon and evenings in fact he posted videos and pictures of the training he was doing, and when he was finally allowed out he was out most days with Jon his trainer. In Dubai you are tested before you get there and when you arrive and are not allowed to leave your room until you get the results, and you are allowed to remove your mask for eating and drinking, so if he was with people that were in his bubble and was drinking to celebrate new year then that’s allowed. He’s brother and mate might not have been around him at the time when he contracted it so wouldn’t have had to isolate, it depends on when he last had contact with them, and to say he was being blatant about it is completely wrong, he didn’t post anything, and to be honest I haven’t seen any of this evidence that he was partying all I’ve seen is one photo showing him at a table with food whilst chatting to someone. All I’ve heard people saying is that someone saw this and someone saw that, it’s all word of mouth. He was out there legally and didn’t break the law out there, otherwise you can guarantee the Dubai authorities would be involved, I didn’t see people calling Hamilton out when he went to Dubai between races when he caught it and, no one criticised the thousands of people who went abroad in the middle of the pandemic last year when they were allowed. For all we know Lando could have caught if off of a hotel worker who might have had it and not known. Remember that you can catch it by touching a surface then touching your face as well as close contact, which is why they tell you to wash you hands as often as possible. People shouldn’t jump to conclusions, and certainly not make the death threats he’s been getting. Believe me if it wasn’t allowed McLaren and his management wouldn’t have allowed it.

@@shoanajames2169 Jesus dozens of my mates are in/have been to Dubai & I know the rules, its not a bubble, you're not isolated on arrival, you just show negative result ceritfacte for 3 days ago which so many people fake. Dont pretend Lando wasn't contact with his brother, they literally flew out together after xmas with their parents, which btw Lando left a tier 4 area to go to tier 3 which isn't allowed or wise. 'Death threats' over covid? Jesus you lot are insane, he's got none of it. Even if its allowed, he was partying like an idiot, even the most loyal stans acknolgedge that at least, he was reckless & foolish going around without a mask & partying. His brother & mate were even worse. He isn't staying in a hotel either, its a private villa on the palm from Insta pics. Hamilton didn't get pictured partying with people now did he, He didn't get abuse cause 100% of the convo/media was about who replaces him right away. Insane how you can't acknolge he was wrong to party & go out without masks (which are against rules-).Unlike other normal people/influencers, lando is a F1 driver & held to high account, rightly so as you can't be reckless in a sport thats begging countries to let in 2000 people into their countries when you have been who don't follow rules by partying, bad example.

@@d.b.cooper1 I didn’t say it wasn’t wise, and I know he went out there with his brother, all I’ve said is that when he contracted it he might not have had direct contact with him, I believe at the time Surrey where he lives was in their 3 at the time he left to go to his parents. He spent the whole of the summer not seeing his parents even when he could have apart from one time when he had them tested as a precaution. And yes he has had threats as well as people saying they wish he would die from it, I’ve seen them. That’s his brother posting the pictures of the villa, it doesn’t mean Lando is there as well. I didn’t say Hamilton was partying but, Hamilton admitted he had contact with someone outside of his bubble, which he wasn’t supposed to do. I’m agreeing it was foolish of him to put himself in that position, but he certainly doesn’t deserve the hate he is receiving. Do you really believe Lando would fake a negative Covid test, I don’t think so. McLaren and his management would have made sure everything like the tests were done properly before he left. I just hope he gets better soon. By the way I just want you to know I’m not hating when I’m writing back to you.
