SO not trying to be annoying. Genuinely curious as times, science, information changes. You would want more of a static cooldown as well. Correct? This looks great for a Warm Up! Dynamic movements to get the synovial fluid oiling up the insides, and concentric/ecentric movements to get the muscles warm. But I’m probably a tad older too so I just need long warmups, haha. All the best! All great either way. Warmup everyone, movement is medicine ❤

Nice you could run a marathon. You’re crazy fast so I’m sure you can run a good marathon. With a 9sec 100m you can run a 4 hr marathon and 5 min mile

The fact that my mile PR is 53 seconds faster than Matt is wild to me. I honestly thought he could just casually trot out at least 4:50 because the dude is a full on stud!

It's the offseason and he's a sprinter, same reason most distance runners (if any) can't break 11 in 100m

my best 100m is 13 seconds for 100m. Not fast. But I've run a 4:48 mile on the road and my best half marathon time is an avg of 5:53/mile. It isn't all about speed, but with his speed he should be faster if he cared to try again/train for it

  • @greggarey4068

if he transitioned to distance running he'd go sub 4 in a few years with the natural speed he has

LOL! That’s like the world record mark territory. Four minutes was not broken until the 1950s. They are different skills for short distances and long distances.

I mean 6 min is doable for anyone that’s taken running somewhat seriously for more than a month or two. Someone of his speed should be able to do it or there’s something really wrong
