Good info. The only safety item I would add is a thin wire tether. When I mount on the exterior I use the GoPro slide in clips with the 3M sticky tape. My pickup body is aluminum and I have had issues with the GoPro suction coming undone! So my suction mount is inside only!

Do you know of any standard zoom lenses for go pro maybe like a 1-5x adjustable?
