My name is oby and am a mum of two living in the uk with my family making youtube videos.
my channel encompasses all the passions of my life....from creating awareness for Scoliosis, to fashion hauls and makeup. And also to some very real vlogs of my everyday life.
Having moved to uk from Nigeria I really do want create a big awareness for scoliosis in general but most especially Africa as a whole.
And I would also love to talk about life as an immigrant living in the uk adjusting to a whole new surroundings and new system.

@@obianammao5109 Yess I have never had surgery.. I didn't want the rods, screws or metal in my body but now I'm starting to wish I had the surgery.
This is similar to what my back looks like and it’s caused me so much pain and insecurity. Mine is much more bent looking. I only wear loose sweaters and tops. I want to wear pretty dresses so badly but I’ve had it pointed out by people so i know it’s very noticeable. My small waist feels like my only body “asset” but it has to be hidden because it’s so deformed:( I wish things were different but it is what it is edit: I found an instagram model with scoliosis, she changed everything for me. here’s the link: instagram.com/p/CKjjvT5BqAg/?
I know that feeling…sucks sometimes you can’t actually wear what you want to really😢.
@@obianammao5109 By some stroke of luck I found a girl on instagram who also has scoliosis and my whole outlook on my back has changed. I’m not religious but it seemed like fate..:’)
Yeah I love her too very confident with her back.. I draw strength with the way she carries herself regardless…I do follow her as well.
