Hello and welcome to a channel for my artistic projects, mainly music made with LMMS (Linux Multi Media Studio). I may also occasionally post sketch art related videos as well.
Personal Trivia: My favourite songs are Alarm by SN-Music, Wake Me Up by Avicii, Avicii's UMF Anthem, SkyWorld by Two Steps From Hell, Ends of the Earth by Marcus Warner and Time Machine by Accept. My favourite musicians are Avicii and Two Steps From Hell by quite a substantial margin.

Thanks for the comment, but honestly I wasn't really even aware of that song until you mentioned it. Maybe at some point in the future I'll do a cover of it, but for right now, it probably won't happen, sorry.

Where can I download lmms plugins?
I'm probably not the best person to ask about that, sorry. If you're looking for my suggestion though, I'd advise you to listen to some tutorials on RUclips, they normally give good recommendations, then once you have a plugin or sample in mind, go find the source website and download it from there. Don't use hub sites, they're full of utter garbage. Hope this helps.
Way too much reverb and it shows especially end as all the sounds get blended together It might just be me but it also sounded like everything was on the same layer But I can’t judge you there as I use lmms too and it’s really hard to layer everything without something being either way too loud or too quiet
Holy cow. I never really thought I could jam to an LMMS song considering how weak the program is compared to other software (sorry, but it's true). But I totally was head bobbing the whole time I was listening to this. I don't care if you didn't write the song, this was very well done. Bravo!

VSTs are DVS Guitar and Synth-1. Presets are all trial and error by me.

Too much reverb in my opinion. Did you just take single note samples and use those instead of the whole thing? :/
+sylvan sylvan When you say "instead of the whole thing" what do you mean? All the instruments are just samples, yes.
what I meant was, why didn't you use the SSO through a VSTi? You're using the sample of one note per instrument, which will sound worse when played at higher/lower pitches.
+sylvan sylvan I think it's just that for some reason I didn't feel comfortable using the plugins, don't know why but in future I will most likely use the actually VSTs in SSO.

+Sven Van de Pas Thanks, glad you liked it. It took about 10 hours to do this, mostly just tweaking little things here and there to get to sound just right. But the core of the song; instruments and drums took about 4-5 hours, mostly because I made all my presets. Believe it or not most of the work went into the automation to allow the natural flow of the song.
Sometimes I just wonder why I even downloaded LMMS, WHEN CAN I BE GOOD AT MAKING MUSIC?!?!?! Anyway, how did you learn LMMS? Online, self-learning or what? I'll be glad to know. Thanks! This cover is awesome :)
+Seng YeChuan Mostly I learned how to use LMMS from tutorials here on RUclips, but a few more advanced things I found out from trial and error or by browsing online guides.If it'd help you get started I could do some tutorials on my music or how to use LMMS in general.Post a reply for any specific queries you have.
