Mommy, please please humble yourself a little. When you work as a house keeper or a nanny, you are taking care of other peoples homes and needs. You are not spending time with your own kids. You are not improving your own property. You do not have comfort of your own home. And after a long hard day of work, they go home and take care of their families. Please understand that you are very very privileged and that your husband fills your pockets with money, but not everyone has the luxury. Crazy right? Do not compare yourself to actual working mothers. They literally do twice as much as you. Imagine doing all the “work” you do And then having to do twice as much work because they have to go home and take care of your own children. True! When my kids got older i found work that continued to fit round my husbands job as didnt want to work full time justvto give most of what i earned to someone else to look after my kids.

If mom didn't do it, then someone would have to be paid to do it. Taking care of the home and the kids is most definitely a job.

I have 3 dogs - two 50+ lbers and a 6lb chihuahua - and my 3 month old will be crawling soon, so I decided to start deep cleaning in preparation. Ya, I babysat a toddler for 3 months. That's when I decided that I will never have children.

I dont have a kid yet but I did babysit as a teen and I hate it when I hear people go, sleep when the baby/toddler sleeps. Like then expect the house to be an absolute disaster then. When they sleep that's when you catch-up on everything else you jave to do every day. And with toddlers you have to do some things multiple times a day like cleaning, then theres tha meal prep and any other chores you may have.

I am obsessed with “the cheat sheet”, if you’re looking for a romance book. It’s where two best friends are secretly in love with eachother but don’t know how to tell the other person. Another really good book is “you shouldn’t have come here”. The author does a great job in combining romance and horror. I could not put the book down.

"being friends first makes a difference" hit close to home. Not a mama, but a mentally ill gf and having my bf be patient through the depression and anxiety is so relieving
