Came across your channel by accident when I got curious about how things in Tunica are now. My husband and I went there many times from Ohio with my parents. We always stayed at Hollywood and had such a great time. Tunica was my first experience gambling as there were no casinos anywhere near us in Ohio at the time. Hurt my heart a little seeing what time has done to the place. My dad passed a year ago come next week and my husband has been gone 5 years now. Your video brought back a lot of great memories of those trips. Thanks much

I haven’t been since probably 2002 or so, but I remember Horseshoe as having the best buffet by far. I was too young to gamble, but my family still took me along, and I would always do my homework at the buffet (endless drinks and food!) while they would hit the casino. Super nice employees always made it fun, and some were really good with the homework subjects I had and would help me out. I also remember around 2000, I was really sick in a room at Fitzgeralds. My grandpa asked the buffet restaurant if they had anything bland/brothlike that might could settle my stomach. They sent him back to the room with 6 different kinds of broth, mashed potatoes, plain rice, and the head chef’s own family recipe chicken noodle soup (not on the menu), and didn’t charge a thing. They even sent a little bit of every dessert they had for when I felt better. My family didn’t have any VIPs, and definitely weren’t high rollers, but every single employee at both Fitzgerald and Horseshoe were always amazing. Edited to add- the last time I went, I went to Hollywood Casino, and you could smell the cigarette smoke from the parking lot, and I didn’t even bother going in. It’s a shame, because I’d always loved looking at the props.

Just an FYI the hushpuppies at Bubba Gumps are delicious.

Other casinos still do the buffet besides goldstrike it’s just on certain days not everyday

My dad used to take my siblings and I to the kids quest every time we came to visit him in 1996/97 or sometime around those years. We loved that place! By the time I was old enough to gamble it was shut down. I did get to enjoy the Roadhouse (i think it was called that) next to Horseshoe a few times b4 they took it down. I go to Southland in Arkansas more than Tunica now but they don't allow kids in the hotel so we don't get to go often. I forgot about the aquarium out there so I am going to visit it and the aquatics center next time I visit with the kids. TAC has some rough reviews but seems ok for the most part. I thought it was great when I was a kid but it's all changed so much since then. No telling what I'll walk into now. Thanks for the video! I was looking for a review for the Hollywood and found y'all! I loved learning about all the others as well. We normally only go to gold strike. They allow kids, keep the place up much better than the others and I still get free rooms on weekdays even tho they got bought by the Cherokee Nation casinos a few years ago. Wish it was still MGM but at least the beau in Biloxi is only 6 hours compared to the 24 hour drive to Vegas lol.

Dogs are way smarter than some guve them credit. For..even this lil guy... He rang doorbell to go out..cool . Usually lazy or bad owners .ake bad dogs from them being lazy or mean . A Dog will get u in shape if u take care of them. Correctly

We are staying here to in October. Was it hard to get to the cruise terminal from hotel. There will be six of us and wasn’t sure if we need a ride or can we walk.
