    Pam, when you push it into the ground how do you stop it spinning round in the wind?

    • @pjsglasscreations354
      @pjsglasscreations354 2 дня назад

      Our ground is very hard here so it has never been a problem. Perhaps water the ground around your stem and pack it down well. Or, the copper is really soft to drill into. Maybe you could drill a hole and put a metal stake through the hole and into the ground.

    I love all your creations Pam and have watched all your videos. Love this haunted house scene. Only thing I would add is sometimes your camera cuts off the bottom of what you are working on. For example towards the end you put glue around the edges of the bottom and sides to put the brown frit there so the glue would stop the frit from spilling off the sides and bottom. You even made a comment about see how the frit doesn’t fall off. But I couldn’t see that because the bottom was out of screen. Not criticizing just an observation. Love your work and I have made several of your things. Bobble heads are my favorites.

    Hi Pam, first thank you so much for sharing your very unique and creative glass art. I have a couple of questions. Since there is an area of glass that is just 3mm does that make that area fragile? Second, I use an iPad and my knowledge of technology isn’t great. I’ve tried looking up this information on the web, but I can’t figure out how to find the description of firing schedules, etc. Can you possibly tell me how to find this information? Thank you.

    • @pjsglasscreations354
      @pjsglasscreations354 27 дней назад

      Mine doesn't seem to be overly fragile. As for the firing schedule, scroll down further in the description on RUclips and you will see it.

    Absolutely LOVE your creativity! These are great. One question...why the plaster? Couldn't you super glue the floral styrofoam to the inside bottom and maybe pour sand on top and then add rocks? Just wondering if the plaster is necessary. Keep up the great creations!

    • @pjsglasscreations354
      @pjsglasscreations354 Месяц назад

      I use plaster to keep the cacti permanently in place and to add weight to the pot for stability. I'm sure sand and rocks would work just fine.

    Beautiful! I’m curious though, I’ve heard that you never want to use super glue in the kiln because as it burns off it creates Cyanide Gas! (Because it was never designed to be heated). Is your kiln in a garage? Have you heard this before? Using a strong adhesive definitely makes assembly easier but I’d like to stay alive too.😁

      Perhaps either up your top temp by 10 degrees or increase your hold time by 5 minutes next time. If you don't want to fire these again use a sanding sponge to sand off the sharp points.
