Redwood Forest Steam Train | Roaring Camp & Big Trees
Travel over trestles, through towering redwood groves and up a winding narrow-gauge grade to the summit of Bear Mountain as conductors narrate the history of Roaring Camp, the railroad and the forest. In the 1880s, narrow-gauge steam locomotives were used to haul giant redwood logs out of the mountains. Roaring Camp’s steam engines date from 1890 and are among the oldest and most authentically preserved narrow-gauge steam engines providing regularly scheduled passenger service in America.

This locomotive is not 1890’s it was built in 1912 but they do have a locomotive that’s from 1890 there

I’d also like to point out as cool as Colorado is coming from a resident of northglenn (just north of Denver) you can’t confuse Colorado with Denver. If you fly to the state to do stuff in the mountains, you might want to fly into Colorado spring airport. But if you want to do anything in the city of DENVER, then fly into dia (Denver international airport) also I’ve never been to red rocks but I’ve been told that going there just to go there is not very cool. Going to a concert, or any events that are happening there are 10 times cooler than going there without anything going on.

I live 30 minutes north of Denver. I used to love it. It’s so bad now, used to be the best city in the west, it was clean, itwas safe! I go there every summer for Rockies games. It used to be so good. The woke, liberal, democrats have ruined a once amazing city. It can still be saved, but things need to change. Also, art museum is extremely boring.

I am *SO* proud to live here. I’ve been to all of these places and they are all equally amazing. My favorite is the museum of nature and science. My dad used to take me there all the time ❤
Been here long lol? Some of us who saw Denver in the 2000's and before are a little frustrated with the state of the state.
@@Dbright1982 I’ve been here my whole life. I was really little in the early 2000s, but it makes me sad to see how much trash is just lying around. And the homeless population is sad too. There’s always room for improvement, I’m just glad that Colorado isn’t totally wrecked. I have a lot of memories here and I’m proud of it no matter what. Unless we do something that hurts other states and people.

@@Genie_Wish Denver has some of the highest crime in the nation now. The mall was nice 10 to 15 years ago. Lots of homeless now, trash, crime, drugs.

@@Genie_Wish. I go to Denver every summer for Rockies games. Honestly it’s not too bad, Portland Oregon was terrible. You just need to be street smart. Stay away from sketch areas and people. Don’t EVER be alone. 16th street mall is one of the worst places to find yourself in Denver. Especially at night.

@@c0l0rad0.cl0ver It was pricey to get. But they do have to take care of all the animals in the tanks. They have a starbucks, a beautiful restaurant next to a huge fish tank, Build-A-Bear workshop and a gift shop.
