I’m feeling a little down and unsure. I’m going through the process of getting a revision from sleeve to bypass and I keep getting discouraged by the negative comments/attitudes toward it. I keep hearing ppl say “dont do it, i know someone who died from that” etc..I’m already terrified of something going wrong or having any complications so that doesn’t help hearing ppl say things like that…Idn if that’s a sign from God that I shouldn’t go through with it or what..but I also don’t want fear to stop me from doing something that could be great for me 🙁😞

5 years post sleeve, surgery day weight 265. My low weight at year 1 was 180. I am 5'10, so 180's are perfect for me. I have stayed between 185-187 for the last 4 years. No more no less. I don't track a thing, and I just still cannot eat very much at a time. Love it and cannot recommend it highly enough.

7 years out here and started some regain at year six. Single best thing I ever did in my life. My advice fo those contemplating is : don’t think you won’t have to keep check on your diet, you always will. Make the most of the first wonder year changing your life and habits and surround yourself with people who eat welll and exercise as part of normal life. Good luck, you can do it.

You are giving personal experience because im 2yrs out, still can not have sugar. I can eat thin crust pizza. No heavy carbs. I went from 265 to 176 first year, im year 2 and 130lbs. Size 22 to size 6. Im shocked you can eat cake. Sugar is painful and causes dumping. Maybe you ate junk too quickly and your body got used to it. I avoided junk food the entire year and because of that, I can only have zero sugar, sugar free, low sugar (9g max) b4 I get sick.
