    Dear Dr Navan Thankyou so much for these videos Can you please make a video on the following topics and whether these disorders /condition have a potential direct/indirect connection to vagus nerve(trauma physical emotional viral etc) 1) Low stomach acid 2) H pylori 3) food allergies/intolerances celiac disease 4) mcas histamine intolerance Many of these disorders are thought to originate in the gut and many are also thought to be caused by inflammation which kind of makes me think hmm 🤔 could these disorders have a connection to the vagus nerve given that this nerve plays a very important role in so many body functions a lot of this info I have learned from various channels including yours Lastly since you guys have discussed obesity and bone health as well as chiropractics I think it would be a good idea to invite Dr Brian hutcheson youtube.com/@doctorhutcheson?si=FP1akXPuswmxXdsz chiropractics as well as author Jon gabriel who lost 400 pounds without dieting after struggling to lose weight with dieting Thankyou so much for sharing this knowledge with us Wassalam

    I have had several severe food allergies since birth. I think it is interesting that I often will feel a "signature" tremble or sensation for certain foods I eat that I'm allergic too. With egg, I feel a tremble in my spine and diaphragm 20 minutes before any other symptoms. I once bit into a garden burger (walnuts) and didn't even chew it. I can only describe the sensation as electrical how quickly my body told me there was something in this food I can't have. It was instant. The idea that allergies are neurological really speaks to a very subtle experience I think I've always been mystified by when having a response. I found this podcast after just purchasing a Pulsetto VNS for my allergies. I have asthma and eczema as well. Looking forward to seeing if this device will make a difference.

    Interesting discussion. I just had another PFT test - all values were normal. FET100% was at 2.52 and improved to 2.98 with albuterol. - improval of 18% change. Doc believes this will lead to diagnosis of Asthma rather than COPD. So in searching around, I came across this and other vids discussing crossover with Vagus nerve. I also have visual snow and tinnitus and swallowing problems - all also associated with Vagus. I do have mild pulmonary hypertension and Afib so don't know how much that contributes. Thanks for the talk.

    Thank you for your videos and your book. They are very helpful. I have been trying a program of breathing techniques. I have been doing deep relaxing breathing, Ujjayi/victory breath and slow breathing which are going well. Bellows breathing, which I understand is meant to be stimulating, makes me fatigued and I yawn a lot. Could you share some insights on what this might mean about the vagus nerve and whether it's safe to continue. Will the yawning and fatigue go away over time? I find the other techniques relaxing and refreshing but the bellows breath is incredibly fatiguing.

    • @DrNavazHabib1
      @DrNavazHabib1 4 года назад

      Great question Talia - often the yawning and fatigue is a sign that there is some backup in your biochemistry and that you need to eliminate some toxic energy from you. As you continue to work on this it will get better and you can start to detoxify your body by drinking more water, taking epsom salt baths and cleaning out your physical space!

      Nasal breathing with the diaphragm is important for healing the vagus but another key point is making sure you get enough B vitamins, especially B1 for making Acetylcholine - the neurotransmitter of the vagus nerve. Well worth trying a month of supplements. A natural B complex and the TTFD or Allithiamine version of Thiamine, incase you have problems getting the nutrient into your cells.
