How books ruined my outlook on life
This is how storylines in books affected my view on the world and my personal relationships. I still love books, and read all the time. I have to constantly remind myself that books are meant to entertain you, and don't always show you the world through a realistic lens.

In the modern world no one accepts what someone else says is true, they believe that they have something to prove and they need to be the ones coming up with the answer all the time. Its tiring and its why we can't solve any of the real problems in the world. Someone has the right answer, and they may live in a small village in Africa, we need to stop demanding they are wrong and they have to do things our way. There is still starving in Africa because we can't agree on something if someone else thought of it.
"it's not selfish for you to set boundaries and to try to save yourself" it kinda hits
I hear this so clearly!
