At-Risk Foot Screening
The International Working Group of the Diabetic Foot recommends that patients with no loss of protective sensation or peripheral arterial disease (Category Zero) should be seen annually, patients with low risk of ulceration (Category One) should be seen twice a year, those with moderate risk (Category Two) should be seen every three to six months, and those with high risk (Category Three) should be seen every one to three months for an at-risk foot examination.

The slide about Destruction premalignant 2-14 lesions is not correct. It is meant to code Each Additional lesion. The AAPC gives example of 3 premalignant lesions destroyed is 17000 and 17003 x2. I misinterpreted this before I found clarifying information through CPT
My line gone very darker on my thunb nail also since i had radiation and chemo. I don't know what to do. They want to do biopsy i'm scared now I found my big toe nail has a brown line it's very scary

It's called nail matrix nevus. It happens when there's water and bacteria in the toe. The one to worry about is the one that's on the toe and spreading that looks dark black. I have them both on my big toes for the past 7 years, they are benign, harmless. To make you feel better, research it, I too was very scared.

Dear Sir or Madam, I am dealing with a relapse of 20 Nail Dystrophy Lichen Planus which is not responding to treatments used the first time to place the disease in remission. It has been suggested that my condition might not have been adequately diagnosed. Has Bako Diagnostics ever been used to test a patient suspected of having 20 Nail Dystrophy Lichen Planus?
