#4 Virgin Birth/Kingdom
The fourth lecture on the Life of Christ teaches on the critical relationship(s) between the coming Messianic King prophesied in the Old Testament, how that is rooted in the covenanted/prophesied Kingdom of God, and why the miraculous virgin birth is so necessary to historically, prophetically, and eschatologically set it all up - without which there is only mere political utopia without any expectation of fulfillment this side of the grave in a very fallen world.

#3 Historical Jesus
Просмотров 1410 дней назад
The third lecture on the Life of Christ seminary series will demonstrate why biblical covenants, history, and prophecy are so inextricably intertwined with divine revelation that culminates in the birth, life, ministry, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus in the gospels that becomes a powerful testimony as an object of faith - historically eyewitnessed, reported, and recorded by the dis...
#2 Messiah Historical Background

The second lecture on the Life of Christ emphasizes the strong relationship between history and prophecy in that biblical prophecy also sets the stage for the upcoming events that the Messiah will fulfill in real time.
#1 The Prophetic Messiah
Просмотров 4111 дней назад
This lecture begins a course on the Life of Christ emphasizing the strong eschatological relationship between biblical history and prophecy that laid the gospel foundations for his First Coming. In so doing, the ministry of Jesus Christ left an indelible mark upon the Greco-Roman classical mindset largely settled upon pagan notions of eternal return. The historical fulfillment of many important...
David Hume: The Forked Cause of Modernism and Postmodernism

Scottish Philosopher David Hume was the hinge between medieval transcendental rationalism where theology reigned as Queen of the sciences and the modernist/postmodernist empirical divide which now heavily influences all of western thought and culture.
The Final Solution as Nazi Eschatology

Mark Musser presents the counterfeit millennialism of National Socialism as it propagated a redemptive antisemitism rooted in the nature based philosophies, theologies, and sciences of the 1800's in Germany that coalesced into a powerful concoction of eclectic ingredients that blew up all of Europe in World War II.
❤thank u!
Great teaching - thank you very much 🙏🐑
Boom! Mic drop! What a rich tour through history. I aspire to be the encyclopedia that you have achieved, no doubt through a lifelong pursuit of our Lord Jesus Christ. As you were summing things up at the end, talking about Zion, Golgotha and the Mount of Olives, I thought, wouldn't it be something if one day, when we are with Jesus, He shows us the new Temple on Zion and says, "That's where my first Temple was, you know, Eden." Then He points to Golgatha and says, "and that's where the first sacrifice took place to cover Adam and his wife." Then He says, "Look over there at the Mount of Olives. That's where Adam and his bride went out from Eden. Many exits took place by that way. That's why I chose to come in there." This is probably a normal Christian pastime - daydreaming of Messiah This study was rich. I'm definitely going to spend a lot of time in Isaiah 59 now. I'll watch the next lesson tomorrow so I can rumminate on this a bit. Thank you 🙏🐑
Glad to see I have a few fans .... Thank you again!
Izas Manu VI of Edessa fitts the best as historical Jesus.
Another excellent presentation. Thank you so much for making it available on RUclips
So excited to see you put up a teaching! What a treat! I first saw you when going through all the available Pre-Trib Study Group videos and was really impressed. I got both your Nazi Oaks and Hebrews commentary as a result. I even gave a copy of Nazi Oaks to my pastor, Brandon Holthouse, Rock Harbor Church, Bakersfield, Ca. I also watch everything Pastor Dean, WHBC puts out and occasionally he gives updates on your overseas ministry. May the LORD bless and protect you and your family and prosper your ministry as well as your efforts in Romania 🙏🐑
Thank you for your encouraging words. Much appreciated!!
I have never met Brandon, but watch his vidoes when I am able to and appreciate his ministry. These recordings are for a seminary class I am teaching for my students. I will keep them up for several months, and then most likely take them down. For a wider audience, they would need to be adjusted accordingly. I should perhaps do more of this kind of thing, but it all takes so much time to do it right, and I just do not have that time at this point to invest in it.
@markmusser2572 Well, I am absolutely grateful to you for putting them up because I am always looking for teaching that "grows" a Believer. Your well executed discussions strengthen my convictions and give me deeper understanding and I always enjoy a challenge. Have you seen Jason Coke's recent presentation of his paper on Genesis? I've seen it twice, most recently at the Pre-Trib Study Group. Some people had a downright ugly reaction to it, but I really see how well it fits with the Hebrew and the whole message of the Bible. Anyhow, I really appreciate your shepherding, good fodder, great water 👍🐑
@@Balaams_Donkey, I only saw his introduction and so will have to watch it. I did look up the Hebrew. His interpretation is certainly exegetically possible, and is consistent with pre-millennialism as well. I was suprised right away how his interperation is more consistent with the literal Hebrew. Whether or not it is biblically plausible might be more difficult to show perhaps as I think of 1st Timothy 2 and Paul's interpretation of Eve's original sin that tends toward the more traditional views on it. Perhaps he is able to explain it though that is able to accomodate it in some way, or why they might be talking about two different things. I will have to set aside some time to view it and think about it.
@markmusser2572 Oh do! I would like to hear more on your thoughts on it. I don't see how it changes the order of things as some argued it promotes egalitarianism - which I suppose means women preachers. Women having authority over men is an absolute reversal of order. (In this I think of the Godhead: They are coequal, but the Son submits to the Father and the Spirit submits to the Son and the Father, but they are partner to each other. So Adam and Eve are Echad, one flesh, but Adam is the head and Eve - even though she is at his side and was taken from his side, being his body, she is subject to him in similar partnership. No egalitarianism where she can wear his pants and lead and he follow. No backwardia. I just didn't see the interpretation saying that at all and only mention it because that's the immediate pushback I saw at Pre-Trib. What I got out of it was the mystery of the Church revealed. It brought into light a pattern: First Adam, Last Adam, then Adam's Bride and the Bride of Christ. I also caught him saying that Eve was _not_ directly cursed. I looked at my Bible and sure enough, the Serpent is cursed, skips - or passes over Eve, and then Adam takes the brunt of it for the whole universe. (But in LOVE: I don't see God punishing them here, He was immediately on the job fixing things. He knew well ahead of time what would happen.) Again, setting the stage for the KinsMAN Redemption to come and fix things (e.g., not a kinswoman). I also thought that fit the rapture: Christ will remove His Bride prior to the Judgement because He already took the punishment for her at Golgotha. Wasn't there a garden thereabouts too? Anyhow, that's a lot of talking on my part and Jason never said those things, so I might be a total heretic, LOL. But I just love looking into the Word and learning about the amazing, intricately planned acts of our Wonderful Lord. He is so worthy of all our praise. I saw you posted two more lectures. Goody goody! I hope I can consider myself an unofficial student - like I am auditing your course. 👍
