I also wore Sweet & Sour Lacquer last month over a white cream and it looked like peppermint bark, I loved it! I really enjoyed getting to do our triple mani with the PFD’s with Sheila and hope we can plan out some more in the coming year. Love getting to wear polishes with my nail friends and it helps me to get through my untrieds quicker, I have a bunch of untried PFD’s!!

My bottle of Haru stopped transitioning long ago and loved it. Nice manis!😊

I too love Essie (my favourite grey toned purple is forever Merino Cool) but I use a topper or sheer indie on top because they don't last longer than a day or two without chipping, no matter the base and top coat. But if I put an indie on top, achievement unlocked.

Came back to add the another pet peeve (petty I know) sleeves as a prop. It annoys me cause I itch to pull/roll it up. Like baggy pants or a wedgie.

Petulant is the perfect word for some of these people in these nail groups online!!

I've just ordered some polishes from Temu. They're ok🤞it's difficult getting polishes from the US and Canada and when I do, the shipping and taxes are expensive. Temu is free shipping 💅👏and my OCD has no shame 😂😁I agree about any toxicity 🤐not nice. TFS

I hadn't recognized the precision of labelling, but I will now, hehehe. Just give me a square short bottle, PUH-LEAZE! YES, brushes are in issue when they must squeeze through. What a great idea for a video! May have to steal it. 😂. The label thing makes me laugh because Jacqueline is OBSESSED with making sure everything lines up on our bottles. To the point that I feel huge stress when I help her label bottles! She inspects each one! I don’t have time for toxic groups. Thankfully I have managed to steer clear. I feel so badly for my Canadian peeps! The shipping is unreal. 😭

With the exchange rate right now, as well, I’ll be limiting my purchases in a big way! My pet peeve is a swatch photo with oily cuticles. The oil is a huge distraction and makes the photos look awful.

Thanks so much for sharing, I am so with you about bottle shapes. I ordered ONE Black Dahlia polish, realized it fits nowhere and destashed it begore wearing it, just the bother of remembering where I put it is too much, LOL. And I don‘t want to go back to Highschool either and I expect of a hobby to bring me joy so I avoid such groups. As for shipping: it‘s about the same on Switzerland. And either we pay the shipping as fee or the costs are embedded in the price of the product. One of my pet peeves: when the brush sticks to the rim of the bottle (looking at you Cirque). I am treating all my polishes the same and it happens to me only with Cirque.

I never really thought about the labels on the bottles, but I'm sure I'm going to notice it all the time now lol. I suggest that when you try to take off the awkward label to probably use a straight edge blade to try not to rip the label or to purchase a label maker so you can just recreate the ripped label if it happens.

Absolutely with you on the frustration with shipping costs to Canada. The group buys have been a bit of a blessing and a curse for me, I have definitely saved money on shipping, especially on PPU and HHC, since I often only allow myself to buy 1 or 2 polishes a month from those sites. But wait times are long (again I don’t mind, I’m patient) though it makes me forget what I’ve purchased and I sometimes end up duping myself since I don’t really think of the polish as in my collection until it is physically received.

A jealous pet peeve of mine of how some people have magical TJ Max’s, Dollar Trees, Walmarts and Targets that are always stocked with the latest polishes. I want to be able to purchase drug store polishes at the store, but alas, it is a challenge.

Can I add a pet peeve?? What about the fill lines?? My recent Mooncat order had lower fill lines than usual and I feel like I’m not getting my monies worth of polish!! I can name a few other brands that are inconsistent with that, but not sure if I wanna start any drama. I can imagine international shipping can be so frustrating. Extra cost and time to get your stuff is something to be kept in mind.

I'm so sorry of all the issues with wait time and shipping fees for those in Canada and the UK. Being disrespectful is not appreciated for sure. Misshaped bottle labels are annoying and so are those super skinny bottle brushes. I also don't like when a brand has so many different bottle shapes! TFS your nail polish pet peeves!

Totally agree with the awkward labels on bottles. When recording, I always fumble because I never know which way the label will sit.
