I hear this one way too often! “Why would I become a developer if I can’t get a job” “The software engineering market is saturated” You do realize than even your fridge now runs some sort of software, that some software engineers wrote, right? What that means for you is that the opportunities are still endless, and more and more people continue to get hundreds of thousands of dollars for it If it was truly saturated, nobody would be getting offers for $200k+ 🙄 Honestly, it’s not… But… things ARE different than they were in 2020, where anyone who said they wanted a software engineer job, even without skills, could get one. VCs are not throwing money at anything and everything And software engineers now need to upskill, network and learn what truly matters for becoming a competent developer (No, it’s not just a JavaScript course on RUclips)

As humans we are blessed with the ability to understand complex concepts effectively and as a result we take things for granted. To keep myself from performing a psychological lesson and making this ridiculously long, just bear with me. Lets take the "lizard brain" and compare it to our brain. The "lizard brain" got its name because it's the bare minimum needed for a creature to live. You couldn't remove a fragment without death being the result. To show you this let me give you 2 non-academic definitions so you can understand my lesson. Surviving-Breathing, eating, resting, propagating, and drinking. Living - Socializing, dreaming, feeling, acknowledging, caring, feeling and surviving. I use these definitions because it helps distinguish why we call it "the lizard brain". You see, a crocodile for example cannot sleep, only rest. They will die if nocked unconscious because crocodiles CANNOT breathe automatically because every breath by a crocodile is a manual breath taken consciously because their brains can't automatically breathe for them because this would require a more complex brain for them. Crocodiles often have limbs removed but don't react much and this's because crocodiles barely comprehend pain if memory serves me well. Compare this to our brains and you can see how far ahead we are. Infact, I bet most when reading "rest" in surviving likely automatically assumed I meant sleep but no, I meant rest because sleep is an advanced concept that we as a species just assumed others naturally do. The reason I give you this brief crash course on brain capability importance in simply put "AI currently lacks the complex thought needed to automatically define menial events". Our brains make so many assumptions that an ai "struggles" to because it must define minut details. An example is you can tell a human playing Minecraft to "build a house and quickly" and the player would build walls off the dirt and put a roof on. A ai would likely struggle because it would need to define a building space and a floor while we don't even think about needing a floor, we just start building walls and a roof because the dirt is our "floor" while ai would just see the plain it stands on. If I misspelled something, bear with me. College is rough and I'm halfway asleep typing this.

Oh selection sort. Slow but great to understand sorting
