Richard Clapton performing "The Best Years Of Our Lives" at Lucky 13, Moorabbin on his 2024 visit. This was his first encore song in a fantastic, tight 90 minute set. Still in great voice and backed by great musicians.

Unreal night Pete

Que hizo el conductor? Se quiso zambullir ? Jaja.Es muy movida y armonica esta cancion .Bien tocada y por supuesto bien cantada por dos dulzuras
Unici. Respect. Muzica tinereții mele.❤
Wow, totally live and fantastic, what talent and what beauty. There will never be another like them.

Great little gem!

@@70Remmelt what do you mean?
The sax solo at the end of Harlequin dream makes my hair stand every time, to witness it live last night at the Tivoli was truly something special.
Yep he was great
Keep an eye out for the encore set which goes live at midnight. I held that part over to avoid spoilers for interstate attendees.
@@peteb1206 thank you very much. Yes the encore set last night was phenomenal, well worth being put on a school night! Thanks for the quality recording !!
@nicholaswirth1011 other half is up now
What a voice ! J adore
Koruk legjobb zenekara volt.
More the just their time , I would say they are loved more today then when they first appeared on the scene in the 70's . They are a class act with great music that will last .
Linda is awful like her mother agnetha with the same talent as Bjorn
@@GillianDavis-p5t all of them have more talent than you could ever even sniff at. Go away.
No se lo que quisiste decir aca .Linda no me parece nada horrible y escuche que canta y actua
Viele von uns wären schrecklich gerne so wie Agnetha, oder hätten das Talent von Björn!😉
I was Blessed to work with John Lead vocals here, I arrived from England in 1974 Christmas Day remember Cyclone Tracey ? Anyway John was a Car Spray painter same as me, gave me advice regarding wages etc, told me he was in a band who had a Gold selling Album in 1972 , I thought this blokes having me on ? He said go to the record shop in Clayton Melbourne which I did and there he was on back of Lp , I eventually bought the Lp put thought ok but nothing special opps big mistake here ? I’ve now got the Album on cd which I got from John’s Brother living in Adelaide, he sent me a copy with a song sleeve showing John’s writing of some of the songs ? Excellent as well , when I played it I thought WOW what a Band this is just like Crosby/ Stills/Nash the rest is history, not long after I met Geoff Cox who just came of a tour of the States America remember Drummer Derick damaged his hands ? He replaced him, such memories, got lots more also Re - The Hollies Allan Clarke- Graham Nash grew up with them 2 🏴🇦🇺👍😀❤🙏
this is great, but LRB is more punchy especially with Ric playing guitar
Oh man this is GOLD
Pretty much identical; except for Glen in LRB version.
And....except for Rick Formosa....
mutton chops pelicci
Thanks for this
👍🏻
Thank you so much!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it. Keep an eye out for more
Wow
Wow now I can see where LRB developed from!
I miss you bruv's your always with me in my heart.
John Mower (vocals), Graeham Goble (guitar), Beeb Birtles (guitar), Russ Johnson (lead guitar), Derek Pellici (drums), Colin Deluca (bass)
John Mower my big brother.
Umn, it wasn't lrb's debut single... Curiously Killed The Cat was in 1975 followed by Emma in 1976 and then It's A Long Way There.
Their best track by a long way
I wouldn't say that. Days On The Road I'd rank equal to it as well as The Night Owl. However the one song that l.r.b. will probably be best remembered for is Reminiscing. It was a touch boring but it's the best that Glenn Shorrock has ever sung. He was actually English born although you'd never know it from his singing.
It's a long way there was their most technical song and longest . Such a classic
Go see them live if you haven't, or even if you have!
Omg the early days of those beautiful harmonies and guitar work already obvious 🙏
so long
does it get cold in the winter in Australia too like in canada?
Kind of similar to the yardbirds/led zeppelin situation where dazed and confused was played by the yardbirds with Jimmy page who went onto form led zeppelin one band emerging into another band it worked well In both situations
It’s half of LRB already. Where did you find this?
It's unbelievable isn't it. Rage played it with no fanfare at all. I wrote to Graeham Goble about it, he had it already but told me some interesting things about it. They used it when they were auditioning singers for LRB. And on stage Mississippi would often do 18 minute versions of it. He said that it kind of wrote itself over time, through improvising on stage and keeping the bits they liked.
@@peteb1206 I’d pay real money to see the classic lineup one more time.
@@Sozjot of LRB? It's never going to happen. The three guys who created the vocal sound, Glenn Shorrock, Graeham Goble and Beeb Birtles, have been frozen out of the band. The three formed their own group for an album and tour quite some years ago now, but it didn't get the attention it deserved. They are legally not allowed to use the names Little River Band or LRB, even though they created the band. The current version of the group fronted by Wayne Nelson which fairly regularly tours the US I'm sure puts on an entertaining show, but if they ever tried to tour Australia under the name LRB there would be outrage.
Imagine how great L.R.B. would have sounded if both Shorrock and Farnham, were with the original lineup.
Two big egos together in bands very rarely works. And lets face it to be the front man in a great ground breaking band you need to have one!@@murrayleewilson0755
She was great singer R.I.P Judith wish I can go 🚶♀️ 😢
The original. Still a good version
love it
RIP Judith. May God Bless You lil lady. 🙏 Amen 🙏
Great find
