I never liked the colored episodes. It never felt right seeing Mayberry in color...and I'm a millennial btw. Once I learned it was possible to adjust the color on the TVs in my house, I would change the color whenever a colored episode was on to make it tolerable. This was back when the show was still shown on TV Land.

Mainly in the US, these women are doing it to themselves, not willing to age and play older parts, lifting, stretching, filling and freezing their faces, replacing natural aging with a new grotesque plastic aging, the second more unattractive than the first. In Britain, actresses play all roles, beautiful, ugly, young middle-aged, old, likeable, unlikeable. That's why their careers last much longer and why they are much better actresses.
