@@vert40k80 nice, kennochi and benallius are actually best friends How the creator got one shot: So we basically got a homebrew that replaces the inspiration system: each time that, in combat, you roll a nat20, you gain a crit point. You can have up to 4. You can expend crit points during your turn: 1 point to max 1 damage dice, 2 points to have an extra bonus action, 3 points to turn your miss into a hit, or your hit into a crit, and 4 points for a special effect based on damage type. Kennochi (my character) uses a greatsword (2d6) flavored into a katana. He's a dexterity based fighter, and the homebrewed sword can be used with dex. He also has a special ability, an explosive unsheathing, which is basically jetstream sam's special power attack with his trigger sheath, it adds 1d6 to the damage roll. Also anither ability is a taunt, which adds another 1d6 to damage upon a succesful taunt, for 2 turns. Being level 6, I had taken two feats: Great Weapon Master, and Elven Accuracy. So here's how it went: I had 4 crit points, and faerie fire was cast on the creator, so attacks had advantage against him, which means with my feat I have super advantage. I had taunted him beforehand, and first attack, with explosive unsheathing, is a nat20. That is 8d6 + 10 (GWM) + 5 (Dex). Because it was a crit, I can bonus action attack again thanks to GWM, and I turn it into a crit with 3 crit points, so that's 6d6 + 15. 3 points remaining, I buy an extra bonus action, which kets me attack again, another 6d6 + 15. Second attack, Action Surge, third and fourth attach, being 3d6 + 15, for a total of 29d6 + 90 damage. I rolled very good, especially with Great Weapon Fighting, which lets me reroll 1 and 2's on each damage die, for a total of 251 damage. On one turn. At level 6. F u n

The only thing I understood is that the DM is often frustrated with the party. But that's just a safe assumption for any good group
