Great video!! Thank You So much for sharing your adventures. We are 9 days away from our Alaska cruise on the Encore. It will be our second Alaskan cruise and we made it a group cruise with family and friends. really looking forward to it. I am so happy that you all enjoyed your time.

When did you take the cruise? Bliss or Encore? Which deck was your cabin please? Did you book the lumberjack show via cruise line? Thanks!
All great questions 😊👍🏻. Our ship left on June 25th, and we were on the Encore. It was beautiful! We were on floor 11, and we did book the lumberjack show through the cruise line! Let me know if I can help answer any more questions!
@@katevalor1930did you get to do anything else while docked in Ketchikan ? We booked the lumberjack show through encore and they said with transportation that’s all we’ll have time to do there
@@meenalpa We did the all you can eat crab feast at 8:00 AM and then the lumberjack show right afterward, with about 30 minutes in the town itself in between. There was another group that had the same activities just in the opposite order, but we had no control over which group we got put in! Hope that helps 😊
@@katevalor1930 did Encore have shuttles going from ward cove to the main area as soon as you got off?
@@meenalpa I'm sorry! I'm not sure 🤔. Unless you mean the ones that took us to our excursions, and then yes! There were also taxis available most places to take you where you wanted to go if you didn't go with the cruise line excursion, but transportation was harder to find than the places in Europe we've cruised!
Where was all you can eat crab feast in Ketchikan?
We did it as an excursion through the ship, but I believe they took us to George Inlet Lodge! 😊

Liked your video since it doesn't have all that blaring music like some others. Did you know you were in Cannes France and NOT Monte Carlo?
I'm glad you enjoyed it! 😊🎉 We ported in Cannes, France, but our excursion took us to Monte Carlo for part of the day (at least according to the tour guide). It was a very cool day!

I was thinking of taking a transatlantic NCL cruise in 2025. (I've already have two NCL cruises booked for 2024) Did you upgrade your air travel to business class. or did you suffer in economy? How long was your flight? I'd be flying in from Chicago. PS. When you stopped in Malta, did you port in Valletta? (That used to be the main city)
We suffered in economy. 😂 It was rough, but our flight there was direct, which was nice.If you're the kind of person who likes to upgrade, absolutely splurge to do the bid on the Haven if you can. It felt luxurious and first class from the moment we got there and got to skip the whole line! Food was excellent too. Our flight was 7 hours from Atlanta, I believe. 😊
@@katevalor1930 I flew out to LA for Thanksgiving to visit my son. 4 hours of economy plus wasn't too bad. Not sure if I could do 7 hours (8 for me) in economy. A round trip transatlantic cruise would be perfect for me, but nobody does them.

I'm so glad that you enjoyed! We had such an incredible time, and I hope that you get to go on your own trip and that you have an amazing trip! :) We were on the NCL Encore, and if you get the chance, I would choose one that has the Haven so that you can potentially submit a bid for a cheap upgrade in your room if the ship isn't too full! 😊

We went at the end of June/beginning of July, and the weather was perfect!
