I fix the exhaust leak in the single speed. It’s ready to get back on the tarmac. Finally figured out the two speed’s(TWO SPEED BABY!) clutch bell spacing issue. Gotta get a RS4 3 clutch bell #hpiracing #supernitro #nitrorc

Traxxas TMaxx project brought up to par. This 3.3 was my first nitro. My neighbors had 1.5s back in the early 00s and I had a Rustler(which I still have and it’s been upgraded). Thank you! That traxxas paint is very good. It dries fast and is low odor. Highly recommend. The best bet is eBay to find the old bodies. Cheers
What fuel are you running in it? I noticed the green tint
@@favulus1 the green tint is from a bit of old fuel left in the tank from a while back but I’m running Dynamite Blue Thunder 20%
@@zchamberlain710 man I hadn't heard that name in a couple of decades! I remember that was what I used to run before all this other stuff came out
@@favulus1 I like this fuel a lot. No issues with it, even when it’s old. Gotta pick up some my from my LHS
@@zchamberlain710 that fuel was created by a master at nitro engine tuning and modifications of engines. He was the king of nitro back in the day. Look him up his name was Ron Paris. Not so much a racer he was an engine man for top off-road and on-road guys.

@@s.o.sSavage in my experience, foams are great for straight runs. I find that any kind of debris or crack will take a bite right out of the foam. Just be mindful and check the field before letting loose. I’ll show you a specific example and share in a letter video. Looking forward to seeing you run yours! Cheers!

On the Hobao truggy I recently got I found alot of rusty screws and replaced them especially on the assembly you replaced, did you find any of the screw heads had rust? Thanks for the vid
@@s.o.sSavage your Hobao truggy is from the earlier lineup but still great. It could have been stored in a moist basement or garage or have been put away wet from previous owner. I deal with a lot of rusty screws but not with this buggy that I remember. Cheers

Awesome trucks. Had one when the first came out. Loved it. looking for one to rebuild. Hard to find or they want way to much for them. I'll have to check with the hobby shops like you did.
@@JenniferSmith-gp1xx eBay will be your best bet for to buy a cheap used one thats filthy and refurbish it. Hobby shops are good for new old stock parts that didn’t sell as the hobby advanced over the years. Good luck on your quest!

My hpi super nitro has a oscvr 18 and it does 50mph 😮😅

Mine slipped from the start, got a pullstart for it, and it worked without slipping, eventually got a backplate and used a starter box.
You should put that new 15ss you got from me and put it in that super nitro. And and a 2 speed lol
