Which flight mode we have to use F or S or N.
The three positions of the switch correspond to: N-mode (Normal), S-mode (Attitude), and F-mode (Normal) - for general applications, you would use N-mode.

I have a T40 bought from new. I was supposed to get 1 day of on site tuition which ended up being about 2 hours. I have no idea how to use the RTK and I am probably not using the drone to it's full potential. I can't seem to find a video that goes from start to finish explaining all the steps. Unfortunately, most videos are made by people who are "experts " and it is assumed that everybody watching understands what they are doing. My biggest problem is obstacle avoidance when doing a boundary run. My drone senses trees that are close and stops. This chews up battery and is hard to get out of. Why do you map the field first instead of using google maps and wifi?

When creating the spray plan, under "Mission Area Planning", do you need to establish a takeoff point for the t40?
Nope! When the boundary is established and the flight lines are generated a start point will automatically be generated as a green dot in the spraying area. When you start the mission, the drone will automatically take off and rise up to the Connection Routing Altitude set in the controller settings. Then it will fly directly to the start point at the Connection Routing Speed set in the controller settings. Be aware though that the drone does not terrain follow on the way to the start point. You also want to make sure there are no unmaked obstacles between the take off point and the start point for the spray mission. If the obstacle is marked the drone will go around it. If the obstacle is not marked the drone may impact the obstacle. Please let us know if you have any other questions! Cheers, Droneland Australia

For this example, yes we were appling at 50 kg/ha, but for your specific paddocks I would recommend reviewing the NDVI map with an agronomist to make recommendations for rates based on the NDVI values. Typically you would apply more fertiliser to the areas with poor growth and less to areas that have good growth. The specific rates for those areas though I would defer to an agronomist. Great Video! One tip for the viewers: Turn off "Elevation Optimization" in the DJI Pilot 2 Flight Planning, it can lead to artifacts when processing the data with PIX4Dfields as its meant to be for 3D modelling software. Its that diagonal line of images you see at 1:47.
