Absolutely gorgeous car, but it sounds like a singer sewing machine, and it's not running any where near right T all. It's got a bad piston slap going on and it's bouncing really bad like it's not timed right or missing on one cylinder
Thank you. This was taken with a base tune by myself with a 288 degree/ 10.8mm lift in/ex cams. This car has since been sold and dyno tuned. Follow Denzmechanic in Instagram to get the current iteration of this.

Hey Whit, the 83 Celica engine is a complete stock rebuild with an auto to manual conversion. It's my son's daily driver while we are building his 73 Celica.
How much for a dream car like this go for ?
About $25K.

Did you make any adjustments with the foundation?
If you mean the engine mounts, no, that is stock from the 2TC. I had to replace the transmission mounts because it is now a W58. The engine has 440cc Injectors, T3/4 turbo, front facing plenum, 68mm throttle body and a 3 inch exhaust.
chesmari what about any reinforcements to the chassis? Since its an old car shouldn't a relatively high torque engine cause problems?
Not at the moment, eventually I will. It is just a daily driver. If I take it to the track regularly, I will have to.
