Most of my life, my father and I have gone gold prospecting. They're great memories and we had some great experiences. I'd like to accomplish 2 things with this channel:
1) Bring you along on my adventures with a gold claim that I just leased in Arizona

Come on an adventure while I'm a guest on the SPMA Starlight claim near Pine Valley and Buckman Springs. I used a recirculating highbanker, another person used a dry washer, and another used a metal detector. We taught some new prospectors how to use each piece of equipment and everyone got some gold. Crushing and Panning Quartz Veins from GPAA Bautista Claim

We stopped at the GPAA Bautista Claim near Hemet, CA and found some quartz veins that were purported to be the source of the gold. So, we used a rock hammer to break a bunch of it off into a bucket. In this video, I'll crush it and pan it to see what's in there. Come along on the adventure.
Arizona Gold Claim Update and Fraud Warning

Unfortunately, the gold claim in Arizona was misrepresented to us and we are working with the credit card company and Craigslist to get a refund. The Claim owner's name is Michael Alfano from Washington state who goes by Gold Claims Northwest.

You should wet your cons before running helps to prevent float gold & a little jet-dry
This was a short test trip. I didn't know what to expect when I got there. I didn't have enough water to wet the material (the cons were wet) and forgot to bring jet dry (I use dishwashing liquid, same effect). Next time. Thanks for the tips!

Did you just spend all day at a gold claim to get 2 specs of gold? Am I missing something? Seems super disappointing.
That's how gold prospecting goes. Your first visit is scouting and isn't as successful as future visits will be. For clarity, it was 3 hours and about 8 specks of gold. I explain more about why I post my disappointing videos here: ruclips.net/video/U2Ul-DfGySQ/видео.html
I asked if you saw my spot Lizard hill.. guess you didn’t see my video that shows you exactly what to look for.the tailings you were going through were mine and I run them twice so I don’t leave gold behind for the lazy miners. LOL.good luck finding anything big in my tailings.. You probably should have detected the area I was removing my paydirt.
I just don't know the names of the hills. I had no idea what hill I was on. You say lazy, I say smart. My biggest nuggets have come from other people's tailings.
@@GoldProspectorSchool I was hoping you would have understood what I meant by Lazy Miners, but never mind. Yes I know you can find good gold out of tailing piles, but you’re not gonna find it in mine. I run twice and use a Detector. I could’ve saved you some time. I have met a majority of prospectors who say their main project is to run somebody else’s tailing pile. I say if you’re gonna find real gold, you need to find the spot yourself and take as much as you can before somebody else gets to it if it’s your claim. Unfortunately, claim jumpers do not obey the rules. Heavy pans to ya and we’ll see you out on the claim.

Yes, sir! My buddy and I are trying to come up with ways to speed up the process. We're thinking smaller capped pipe inside of a larger capped pipe and smash, smash, smash.
Oh man that sucks!!! I'm afraid of stuff like this to. Best thing you could have done was join GPAA. You now have access to actual claim owners that you can communicate with. They also have contacts to legit claim brokers too. Hang in there, you'll get your claim. One more thing and you probably already know this, but don't buy a claim without first running some test pans. If the owner will not let you test pan, run the other way!
I understand. It was 6 hours away and he convinced me that you cannot file a claim without an assay or some other evidence of gold. Didn't matter, though, I couldn't get to the claim anyhow.
Congratulations on your first claim and best of luck to you. I'm just learning to prospect myself and hope to lease my first claim out west in 4 to 5 years also.
