"Casey Joins Ministry" An Interview with Casey Orr ( GWAR, Rigor Mortis, Ministry, Burden Bothers)
Interesting , Especially if one is independent music artist
I remember when punk rockers and rebel rockers used to hate Big Brother and now they are so in love with Big Brother and hate political outsiders like Trump who has the courage to stand up to Big Brother and the uniparty swamp creatures in DC. I like presidents who aren't open border puppets of the military industrial complex. Regarding masks and jabs, I'm part of the 33% who's trying to help the 67% by pointing out their stupidity until they realize what has happened to them. I don't do social media, so I'm using your video to speak. A friend of mine told me she paid casey for some of his art but he ripped her off instead because he found out she's a MAGA patriot. It's sad and funny to see libtarded "rebel" rockers and punk rockers with Facebook and Instagram accounts.
The silence during the clips really kills the video. You need to re-edit this and keep the original audio until you do the voice-over part.
I miss that place. I think I went there one time when it was Moon Tunes. It was called Dune Buggy Headquarters before it became Moon Tunes, and I used to hang out there. I played there one time with TreeHouse. I remember seeing Skrew play there as part of a KNON event. They were intense. Dune Buggy Headquarters relocated to what would later be the Dallas Music Complex. I played there a few times before it became the Dallas Music Complex. The owner of Dune Buggy liked me which was cool because he was an older ass-kicking hippie who didn't put up with any BS. I remember when a homeless Black man got in his face at the moon tunes location and he pointed a sawed off shotgun at the homeless guy. I think he may have shat his pants. 💩
So rare to see those fills being done in a cover. Nice one.
I busted my ass to try to learn them correctly. This song is a lot harder to play than it looks. Plus, there is no live video where he plays the same fills as the recording. He does different fills each time.
So many guitars in such a tiny spot
This was the biggest store of the 3 I visited
So no real bargains...question: Would you have to pay duty at the border, and how much extra for bringing a guitar home; is it like an extra bag? Did you find that prices generally were comparable to the US, as far as most goods and services?
I don't know about duty on bringing back a guitar because I sold the guitar and amp back to Hard Off for half what I spent. I kept the Hard Off guitar strap. I have heard too many horror stories about airlines damaging guitars. I am going back in October and I might buy a better guitar and leave it in Japan with one of my new friends. The prices are generally lower in Japan, but the real value is the condition of the used gear. I rarely saw a beat up guitar that wasn't vintage. Everything is cheaper in Japan than the US because the Yen is down.
🔥🔥🔥
I also wanted to say that this is a very interesting way to run a restaurant. How did you know which food was yours as it came down the belt?
There is a belt that runs through the entire restaurant on the bottom level and a belt that sends an order directly to your table. It is right next to your head and an alert announces your sushi's arrival. They don't put sushi on the bottom belt anymore because kids were licking the sushi and putting it back.
@@RockulaProductionsRUclips I would totally support them wrapping the sushi on the bottom belt with Saran wrap or something like that if they needed to use it again. 😆 Kinda like how restaurants are starting to put tamper-evident packaging around their food before they send it off with Door Dash. Saran Wrap but a sealable type. Yeah, it's a little annoying to have to unwrap your food when you're eating in, but it's better than having to worry about a brat licking your sushi.
I met Casey way back in 1999. He was amazing, nice, funny and very gracious. I cherish the memories and the pictures he let me and my friends take.
I ate at a really good sushi restaurant in Florida when I went there on vacation and anything with spicy tuna is a safe bet. Was the octopus good? I had fried octopus in Florida too, but it was meh. Calamari, that's what it's called. Nothing special.
I liked everything equally
I did eat some other types of sushi and all were pretty good, I just found the spicy tuna one to be tastiest.
@@sailorhathor9705 I forgot to say that I wasn't fond of the Sea Urchin but that was on another visit
I can't remember if I had sea urchin or not. If I did, it didn't make much impression on me, like the eel sushi. It was alright.
I'd have to bring a sleeping bag! I look at EVERYTHING. The song reminds me of commercial ditties from my younger days. "Pleeeeeeeze buy Lucky Charms....they're magically delicious"
I like how he decided he wanted to come back and they just immediately fired Jamison lol
I agree, obviously I don't know how it went down but especially when Casey left again and Jamison joined which was already very forgiving, just for them to fire him again. But GWAR is my all time favorite band so I don't really mind (no hate towards Casey or the band what so ever everyone in that band will immediately be my idol for whatever instrument I learn next HAIL ODERUS! HAIL FLATTUS! HAIL GWAR!
Been waiting on a in depth interview with Casey. This helps . Ty

If I ever get to go to Japan, that's the thing I want to do the most - shop shop shop! And take pictures with all the uniquely Japanese funny things. There are tv shows in Japan that you can find on RUclips where they have celebrities and others react to scary "paranormal" videos of the world. You hear "Eeeeeeehhhh?!" constantly on those shows. I love 'em. Have a great time!
Have you eaten any Yerrow Snapper yet?
not yet
@RockulaProductionsRUclips I squish lemon on my fish and it always tastes delish.
If seven eleven was spelled seven ereven, would Japs pronounce it properly?

Awesome
I Like Support Drum Covers ! This is a Nice Job ! 👏🥢
Thanks! I tried to be as accurate with the hi hat clutches and tom fills as possible. I think I missed one towards the end. I do a drum cover once a month for my Patreon supporters and i take suggestions. Perhaps you would consider being a supporter.
Nice job!
Great drumming. I originally found your Bad Brains vid a while back, but I'm glad this popped up on my feed and now I'm subscribed. Keep up the good work!
Thanks I have since found that this is called the "D-Beat"
This guy sounds like Chris Gore
Nice drumming
Thanky!
Best so far!!!
Oh wow, I just found this. Not only was I present for this panel, I’m actually on camera for almost this entire video (that’s me on the far left in the glasses and the blue-and-white hoodie).
Awesome! And my fave Blondie song too!
Nice drumming 👍
Hi Rockula Productions, check me out on bass. ruclips.net/user/Andyjefford Many thanks 👍
*I've been a hardcore Blondie supporter for nearly forty-five years. NOBODY has EVER covered Clem's style to near EXACT in anything I have ever seen in all these years. Your style and passion is absolute mirror perfect. INCREDIBLE!*
Thank you! Please share this video. I can't claim to be 100% accurate on all of the fills. I think I got pretty close though. In my defense,, I haven't seen a live video where Clem replicates the patterns from the original recording either. Please consider checking out my Patreon and participating in the monthly drum cover poll.
Learn something new every day!

Who’s here in 2022?
Fantabulous review brother!! 😄👍 Thanks so much Rockula!! 🤟😎💕🥁🥁
I own both the Slishmans and Off-set. The Slishmans are smooth but you loose power and speed, the Off-set are infanetly adjustable but clunky. I'm in the midst of making a custom center set using two pearl p932 demonator's witch will be a considerable upgrade.
The TV throwing scene has stayed with me ever since seeing this as a kid. Later I googled that scene "Film about girls throwing TVs from the roof" and out came Times Square. Great film, though very romanticized.
Nicky said something about life, emphasizing LIFE and the crowd knew she was gonna jump and got ready for her.
Judy, how come I've never seen this? I love this review. The soundtrack came out before the movie and I bought it because I had seen the movie teasers and was interested. And, yes, I saw the movie in the theater multiple times. I think I first went to New York in 1981 and immediately went to Times Square to check out the locations.
What bass drum trigger it that that you are using?
I missed it in the theatre when it came out, but I - and everyone I know - had the soundtrack.
thanks for doing this! Times Square sometimes seems rather obscure, so it's nice to see a big long fan discussion on it, since fan content can be scarce!
Hi! Guess I'm a bit "late" with my comments, hope not! Thenk you for this review which I found very interesting. I recently introduced a more symmetric way to set my drum kit, I moved my hi-hat from left to centre above the kickdrum utilizing a Tama remote pedal for it. However the kick drum is a bit on the way, as well I like toms more orizontal (on the sides of the hi-hat) but still the kick drum is disturbing. Sorry for this long introduction. My question is the following: if I move my kick drum in the centre (right in front of the snare and the now positioned hi-hat) how much aheadf can i move it with the benefit of this offset drum pedal? Thanks and ciao (from Italy)
