I'm Ila Golden, mature young adult fantasy and magical realism writer. I initially started this channel as a kind of experimental way of getting people interested in my writing, and, if you look back far enough through my videos, you'll find the initial 'experiments' were me reading some of my... interesting/cringy teenage poetry. Fortunately that phase didn't last long.

When I started really using this channel a few years ago it was to vlog about my fictional multiverse, stories, and characters. I also tried a few other experimental things, which for one reason or another didn't work out. Only the vlogs remained a constant stable, eventually branching out from focusing on my writing, to focusing on me and my life as well.

So how would I describe this channel now? I'd say it's the vlog channel of a writer, talking about whatever happens to be on their mind when they sit down in front of the camera to film. It's no longer an experiment, but a fully realised vlogging experience.
