There's plenty to do off campus. W&M is not in the middle of nowhere. There are beaches 5 miles away, Prime Outlets is also 5 miles away, the movies are 2 miles away, Richmond road has lots of food options. Target is a 10 min drive and Walmart is roughly 20 min away. Newport News/Hampton is 30-45 min away and they also have a ton of stuff to do. Busch Gardens is a 10 min drive and Water Country is the same. Everything is an easy $10 uber ride unless you're going to Newport news/Hampton.

W&M is like a rural city place, if you go out of colonial area there’s tons to do. Williamsburg is a big place

Is it the same for pre nursing? I hear that you can’t obtain a bsn from this institution and you only have pre nursing as an option. After graduating with a degree in pre nursing, would I still have to go to nursing school afterwards in order to fulfill requirements? Or can I apply to be an RN immediately afterwards?

This sounds like the school of my dreams, or at least as close as it could be. Even thought I’m not close to applying to college I’m confident that I want to go into the arts (I’m currently interested in storyboarding as a career) Would you say that the art program is pretty good, especially the digital/animation side. Just stumbled across this and have to say that the pros and cons are amazingly similar to when I was there in the early eighties! For prospective students, I would add that there is a very strong alumni network and that, because of the academic rigor, you will be very well prepared for graduate school.

I am in my freshman year and I am taking bio 203 and general chem together. It was such a great decision! Bio 1 is such a stressful course. I can't imaging myself taking organic chem and bio 1 together.

I’ve been looking at schools of 6000 or 7000 undergrads as a “middle-sized “ school, as opposed to say a Haverford or a Swarthmore with just over 1000 undergrads. We know several people who left schools like that because they felt just too too small

You seem to be a young lady that works hard to take care of herself and stay in shape as well. That's really great but with the fall classes now started you will be doing an excessive amount of reading and studying and straining your eyes. So my having been an optician for many many years I have to ask you. When did you last have your eyes examined? That should have been on your list about a month ago to get done. it may come as a surprise to you that a survey done by a major university found that 74% of the population now either wears glasses or contacts. So are you that one in four that won't need glasses? And even if you are that one in four you probably spend and excessive amount of time with your eyes staring at screens of some type. So you at least should be getting and wearing blue light blocking glasses for screen use. It may also surprise you that over half of the people that come in for eye exams claiming to have perfect vision are actually wrong. There are some symptoms to watch for but a main one is not seeing quite as well when driving at night. If that applies to you don't be surprised to be told you need to be wearing glasses. I hope you're having a great fall weekend and stay safe out there.

Lol, I'm on campus in current day and I've yet to finish uploading my orientation.

Never had a night class there in the 70s but did have labs that went from 1pm to 9 pm and a bunch of Bio Plant Classification field trips the lasted from six to twelve hours!!!

Heyy just a little tip. If you are going trough your apartment with sage, make sure you go anti clockwise. Otherwise you will attract bad energie. Loved the vlog girl. Have fun at college❤️
