I can see Pierce Brosnan was really fond of Desmond Llewellyn. I bet he was devastated when Desmond Llewellyn died. Pierce Brosnan was a great James Bond. GoldenEye. The World is Not Enough and Die Another Day were my favorite PB Bond era movies. Desmond Llewellyn was born to play Q. He made Q likable. Intelligent. Very cranky and charming. Nobody could have done it better than Desmond Llewellyn RIP.

During the 1997 general election, the Labour Party adopted the song as their campaign theme (the title claiming that things "cannot get worse"). So wrong that was because thing's didn't get better but worse for the UK economy

Funny that the first two years that come out of the lottery machine at 1:30:30 are 1986 and 1950, as they're my year of birth, and the year both my parents were born. Don't think we bought a ticket though, as we'd almost certainly have put both of those years on it if we had. We were at a new year's party when this was shown, so we wouldn't have seen those numbers come out and be able to comment on the co-incidence! I love being taken back on memory trips like this lol I mean watching beadles about did it great but the adverts, oh god. I remember stealing penguin bars from the cupboard when no one was looking and my mum going mad as it was for my sisters pack lunch box and stuff lol The fairy liquid advert, do you know in the carp fishing world we loved those fairy liquid tops but they stopped making them, I collected 100s of the things, we used them as bobbins way back in the day. Jesus, the days, people, music, tele, everything was just the best
