I have listened to both versions of this song and I like the second one the best by far. The melancholy guitars are painfully beautiful as well as the woman's vocals. The need for music that reaches our deepest thoughts and desires is so very common and having someone to share that understanding is something we all want. A bar that serves drinks and offers the companionship of another tortured soul can be nice, but it can also lead to more pain. Unfortunately, many of us are willing to take that chance.
